Parcel Delivery and Courier Services of the International

So my main issue is; Inpost; there decent not the quickest side of delivery and I’ve fount out to have more problems with them than anyone else, Evri: Good old evri a classic, slowish delivery times and sometimes the item goes missing just like Inpost but not as frequent, Royal Mail: I’d say the best on there, 2 days from drop off it’s delivered depending on what time you drop the parcels off, and less go missing than the other 2? Does anyone else have a preference? Also if I were to turn off my postage’s just to Royal Mail will my sales drop? Thankyou all for reading :)

This morning I was unable to get my temu order from the gate as I was at work. It’s now 21:24, 30 minutes ago a number phoned me saying that the phone call is regarding the package I failed to receive this morning, the person then stated my full name and address and said he is phoning from his wife’s number (no explanation given), she got on the phone and we exchanged greetings and asked if I can send my live location which I did. So I ordered a parcel with buyer protection on the 10th of October, it was sent with 48 hour Royal Mail delivery and never arrived. Vinted told me to wait till November 14th to put in a claim and I contacted Royal Mail during this time period who told me the parcel is considered lost after 10 days. I raised an issue on the 14th once the issue raising period opened and they were extremely unhelpful and told me to contact the seller which I did but received no response. I continued to contact Vinted about the situation and they continued to deflect me off and now they’re telling me I should’ve raised the issue during the time period 48 hours after the issue raising period WHICH I DID. There seemed to have been an option at checkout for parcel at about £4.95 and large letter at £2.95. It auto went to the letter option for me and i panic checked out. People are saying online orders may be cancelled for this. I went to contact customer service but this is what i saw when clicking the shipping option... "Once an order is submitted, we can’t change or upgrade the delivery method. This includes switching from complete to split shipping or upgrading to a Courier Tracked option. I was delivered a parcel from Lush, I subscribe to a monthly box for my wife and I but this was a massive box, and not something I've ordered from Lush. It has my name and address on the delivery sticker, but inside the reciept is addressed for someone called Elaine who lives in Newcastle... Royal mail workers really are lazy, delivered my TWO BOOKS and took a package of a different package infront of my hosue without telling me they’d thrown it over my fence and my dogs got to them this is so obviously not books lol

I've been using DPD (UK) as my delivery company since July. I chose them because they're pretty good for large items (I make handmade furniture). For the most part, they've been ok. But whenever there has been an issue, there's no way you're going to get to speak to a human to resolve a case. Last week, they collected 9 parcels from me (around £2000 worth of Etsy orders), and these just disappeared into the void. DPD claim they were never collected, and any contact with their online chat has led to nothing more than 'sorry for your troubles.
