So I had ordered some things ,so shipping was uk to india via royal post. It arrived to india on 17th itslef and from then onwards all its showing is pending in customs for verification and date for delivery keeps extending, rneither royal mail nor india post have any updates I used track 24 today and the following is what I found ! Hello everyone. I've ordered something on Vinted a little over a week ago and everything went normal, the expected delivery date was 24th april - 27th april. It's been saying "Parcel on the way" for 8 days without an update and the expected delivery date updated to 27th april - 25th may ???? that's over a month later...now it's switching between the delivery date i just mentioned and 26th may..and it's saying that i can report it as lost for up to 2 days after 25th may. I'm covering a duty this week that has an In Post locker on it, and neither me, the managers or anyone else can figure out how to deliver to it. The parcel is addressed correctly to the locker. I scan it in normally on my manifest in the morning and nothing unusual happens, then when I'm at the locker I scan the parcel and select delivery to locker, issue is I can't open the ****** thing. Delivery agent access asks me for a code and the PDA asks me for a code too, but can't find anything on the locker or the parcel itself that could be it! I have a 12 kg package I am trying to get delivered to the USA, and all shipping lines have a low declaration limit, the cheapest (this one) is $80, and the most expensive route only has a limit of $120. I heard online that agents might only refund the declared value, is this true? Is there anything I can do to make sure my package is actually insured. If the insurance is only $80 on $800 of clothes then how much risk does this declaration actually have on my package. I know USA has a <$800 tax limit but there is literally 0 lines that have above a $120 declaration.
