Hello everyone! I’m kinda curious to see what people think of this situation. I’m currently going through a break up and to cheer me up my friend very thoughtfully sent out a care-package as a surprise. The parcel was delivered on Tuesday and by Wednesday she messaged me to see if I had received it. I was confused what she meant and she clarified she sent a parcel, and sent the proof of delivery. Immediately I spotted she put the wrong address on - 2 houses up from mine. I thought ‘Ah no biggie, I’ll go speak to them and collect it’ - like a normal person right? I have a Royal Mail Tracked 24 parcel that was scanned as: Item received - Sheffield Mail Centre Thursday 26 February at 6:46 PM Since then, there have been no further updates at all. It originally gave an expected delivery date for Friday, but nothing happened. It’s now the weekend and still zero movement - no “in transit,” no London scan, nothing. Is this concerning? Is something going on at RM? Trying to work out if this is just backlog or something more serious. Because this is a very expensive item and I’m hoping it’s not lost. Thanks in advance.

I’ve been noticing a pattern the last 6ish months, a lot of my post - both parcels and mail seem to arrive way after the sending date (letter dating or well into the estimated delivery date / after), and I’ll usually just get a bulk of letters delivered. Has something happened with the sorting offices? As the quality of service seems to have plummeted. I miss the reliability and consistency of the service, and don’t think it’s the posties fault.

It was not at the reception so I checked the app which showed a proof of delivery photo - at wrong address. It wouldn't be anything unusual if it wasn't for the A4 sheet of paper in the middle of the frame - this is a note that says this is wrong address. What does it take to drop a parcel at the wrong place with a note hanging there saying this is not the right address? Has anyone else had issues when they sell an item on eBay (simple delivery) and arrange a royal mail collection for a specific day through eBay app and it ends up being booked in for the next day. I sold an item on Friday and knew I was out today so I selected March 2nd. I'm out and I get a notification from Royal Mail that my item has been collected. I then check all the confirmation emails and it does say it will be collected today. This is the second time this has happened and the first time I assumed I had made a mistake but this time I know this isn't me. No idea what royal mail have 'collected' either seeing as I'm not in and didnt leave a parcel 😫

So i ordered something off of vinted and i have never used evri before im always for inpost but it wouldn’t give me any options which is fine its whatever. What isn’t fine is that it told em yesterday that it would be delivered to my parcel shop, yesterday. But here i am 24 hours later with no update and no parcel. I went to the parcel shop yesterday aswell and asked if they had it, maybe they didnt scan it properly when dropping off but there was no parcel for me. I am from Canada for reference. I have an order placed on AmiAmi just now and awaiting for payment. It says epacket light will take around 3-6 weeks. Here's the thing, I am flying out in around 7.5 weeks from now and the items I ordered are meant to be gifts for people to where I'm traveling. The other alternatives that don't cost a fortune are small air packet unregistered which doesn't have tracking but estimated 2-4 weeks. The other other is air parcel. The expensive option is DHL. hi! i’m not sure if anyone can offer their experiences or is smarter than me, but is there any chance my parcel will be out for delivery today? i bought a switch game and i’m on the verge of exploding i can’t wait! i colour coded the places, so all of the same colours are the same place, purple is my nearest city (about 30mins away).

Waiting for an age restricted delivery, a pruning chainsaw, which needs someone over 18 to be in the house. Got a notification this morning with an estimated delivery sometime this afternoon, so decided to pop out for 15 minutes to grab some things from the shop. Returned to a missed delivery 5 minutes after I left the house! I know it's an "estimate", but over three hours early and during the only time I'll be out all day is definitely mildly infuriating - particularly as my usual weekend parcel deliveries come between 11am-12pm!

So as you can see from the pictures my parcel seems to have been scanned many times which I find odd. I’ve had a message (12 mins after it arrived at the delivery office) to say that my property (3 adults, all up and awake) is inaccessible. I checked the cameras in case we all had gone deaf and no one ever attempted delivery. It is a ‘guaranteed 1pm’ delivery. 🫤
