Whilst I understand that the purpose of working a job is so you can be blamed for things outside of your control, I have never seen such an egregious example of this as I have with Amazon flex and their dashboard system. I started around this time last year and since then have received numerous late delivery hits. I re-checked my tracking details after a few days past the estimated delivery date. It said that it was delivered. This was the proof of delivery photo. Firstly, that is not my bin, (that’s not my rubbish) and secondly IT’S A ****** BIN on bin collection day. Presumably this bin was by the side of the road ready for collection and it was easier to dump it in here than actually go and ring the doorbell. There are safe places to leave a parcel, my neighbours are always willing to accept and later deliver parcels for each other but they never even rang the doorbell. So I bought something off eBay - buyer sent it to the address I’ve been using on eBay for 5 years now. Just had this notification come through. I’ve received probably thousands of parcels over the years from RM at this address, and they even collect from my address on a semi-regular basis… yet according to this the delivery address isn’t recognised and the parcel cannot be delivered??? As such it’s now being sent back to the sender. Seems rather odd - the address is the same one I always used and the seller used eBay’s shipping label (which I’ve also used for sold items and never had any issues with). He says he used the QR code but that shouldn’t have made any difference...
