Parcel Delivery and Courier Services of the International

So, had a returns parcel attempt to be delivered twice, both times I wasn’t in. I was unable to change this to collection or change the delivery date as the service didn’t offer this. The postie didn’t leave a something for you card, so I can’t book a redelivery, so I have to collect this from the delivery office, however I’m getting mixed answers on if this card is required or not. I have a provisional drivers license with my address on it, and the tracking number. Would this be sufficient or am I kinda screwed without the something for you card? Also I’m assuming I can just go to the DO and collect it but I’m unsure. There’s no option for me to confirm this.

Okay, I am posting this because I literally lost hope on my package. I have made a post last week on this but I have the latest update. I have ordered an item worth £750 on ebay the seller used tracked 48 service, I was supposed to receive the pacakge on 3rd of January, but no it didnt, it came to my local MC and just stayed there for 7 days without any attempt to deliver. I am planning to buy a gaming laptop, around 55k-65k range and I saw one that I really like sa gigahertz. The problem is that I live in Visayas region and I asked sa messenger nila and they said they do LBC delivery. Pero I'm afraid na mawawala/manakaw yung parcel bcs I've heard some issues about them. So to fix it, I'm planning to split it into installments instead for 3mos but idk how and do they even allow that I pay a third of the price first? Someone called me earlier from Gigahertz saying that I should pay in full and then turn it into installments after. Any advice po?

I have another few parcels from Vinted coming through Evri today and they don't appear damaged and are still coming...so wonder when my order from My Vitamins will appear. I contacted MyVitamins and asked them why they even bother using Evri too for a laugh.

I recently bought a pair of fake Salomon’s (I know, I know) for >£100. Could tell they were fake when they arrived and opened a case with support. The seller agreed I could return them, which I did via Royal Mail and I can see the tracking of the parcel in our chat as being delivered to their chosen drop off point. I need clarity on something because this is not the first time it’s happened and today it crossed a line. I had a heavy Amazon order scheduled for delivery today – a treadmill / walking pad, almost 5 feet long. A van came, the delivery guy called and told me to come down to the road and collect it. In my early Flex days I was dinged a couple of times for leaving parcels in what I judged to be a safe place whilst the customer had apparently specified in person delivery. It’s curious that whilst the app includes a “no recipient required” message (the vast majority of cases in my experience) there isn’t a “recipient required” note on the app stipulating delivery to a household member in the minority of cases where this is a preference. It would be easy to include something (ideally in bold red letters!) and presumably there is some obscure reason why Amazon don’t do this. Just after some advice as Ive not had this issue before. Ive brought a few items over the last few weeks which was expected for delivery, my girlfriend had the mail man knock on the door yesterday and said that I had a parcel that was due for delivery but the postage wasn't paid. So if I wanted the parcel I'd have to go online and pay the £5 fee. I didn't know it was a card I'd ordered which the original postage was £1.35 and the card was £3. So me paying the £5 was more than the item. Ive messaged the seller and he just said that it had a stamp on it when he mailed it. Where do I stand? Should the seller reimburse me? Thank you.
