I wasn’t in so I couldn’t answer the door but I’ve literally never had to answer the door for a small parcel before so I’m confused I thought they’d just post it It says they’ll try again the next day but do I seriously have to be there to answer it every other parcel I’ve had delivered big or small has been posted or left outside 🤔

I work from home, so I’m always at home. I even successfully received two parcels from J&T (one yesterday and one today), so delivery isn’t an issue on my end. Flash marked my order as “Recipient Missed Delivery” twice, but no one showed up. I didn’t receive any text today, and there’s no rider name showing on the tracking page. I’ve already reported this to Shopee customer service, but since there was no rider info, I couldn’t provide a name. Has anyone experienced this before? Will there still be a 3rd delivery attempt, or should I do something else to make sure the parcel gets delivered?

I’ve updated the delivery options thinking that they would still attempt the delivery for today (friday) and if no one was in they would deliver it to the post office the next day (Saturday). But it’s changed from out for delivery to in the transit. But royal mail have worded it as if this attempt at delivery today happens and no one’s in where is the next location you want it delivered to. I’m confused can someone clarify this please.

I tried calling the customer service number and the automated voice said they have too many calls already to take any more and hung up on me. I always redirect my parcels to my local post office as I live in a fairly high crime area. They’re attached to an IGA, so are open late, and generally make it very easy to pick up parcels outside of regular work hours. However since before Christmas none of my parcels have been redirected? They always just say that a redirect has been requested, and if it’s possible to do so they’ll update the estimated delivery date and location. But they never seem to be redirected successfully. Many, many, many people add delivery instructions donkey years ago and forget about it and have the expectation that something be left somewhere that directly contradicts their own instructions. Adding a delivery instruction for a single order (quite common judging by the uniqueness of the request) persists for every order made thereafter, as do those written years ago. Hi, I just sold 2 items as a single order. I offer free delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48, so I pay the delivery fee. The delivery address is a local UK address, so no international fees are being paid by the buyer. One item is about shoe box size and less than 1kg, sold for £15 - Simple Delivery would have been £2.94. 2nd item is larger and heavier and sold for £59 - would have been a Medium Parcel up to 10kg costing £5.74 to post. I just printed the delivery label for the combined order, and I was only charged £2.24..! It says the parcel can be Up to 61 x 46 x 46 cm and 20kg. I'm not complaining! I'm just trying to understand why???
