Parcel Delivery and Courier Services of the International

I am going to be visiting Japan in a few weeks and I want to make some local online purchases. My place of stay is like an airbnb. They said they will not collect packages for me prior to my stay but they did recommend if I want a parcel sent, I should schedule a specific time for delivery while i'm there. Doesn't Japan sign packages with a stamp? Would I be able to collect a package like that? Alternatively would there be any postal/7/11 pick up services a tourist can use instead? I ship to a 7/11 and then i go to the place to pick up. Does anyone know if there are any fees or how to get that arranged?

I placed an order on Lazada and waited patiently for over a month. Every day, I kept checking the parcel status, eagerly anticipating the delivery date. After such a long wait, I was shocked to see that my order got canceled because Lazada was unable to fulfill it. Has anyone else experienced this kind of situation? i keep getting notifications from truecaller that there is an incoming call from this guy, but the call never comes. Then 2 secs later I get the automated call from shadowfax asking if I'm available I say yes, the call ends, and I try to call the guy he NEVER picks up then i receive a text saying the pick up attempt was failed 😭 this happened at least 3-4 times then the return got cancelled so I applied again yesterday and the same guy was assigned again, he didn't call then didn't pick up and marked it as failed attempt immediately. if I can't return it within the next two(?) attempts, the return will get cancelled again and since the 7 day return window will be ove...

I've had quite a lot of eBay parcels collected over the last few days. (None of them of absurd size, all small parcelsor on the small side of medium.) Nothing since Tuesday has gone beyond the “collected” stage on tracking. It's not uncommon for something to go straight from “collected“ to appearing at one of the large hubs two or three days later, but this is every single item collected on or after Wednesday that hasn't changed its status. What is likely to be happening with these? Given the volumes of parcels in vans in the photos thatyou guys have been posting, I can't imagine all that is sitting in a van. Ordered from the official Samsung Authorized Storeon Oct 30. Hanggan ngayon (Nov 7) no movement since Nov 2 when it *Departed from Sorting Facilty*. I've had two parcel arrive on Nov 6 and Nov 5 so I know at least na may courier movement naman. Anyone else experiencing this? I've expedited so many time na. Should I be worried?

Just wondering has anyone successfully got a refund, either for the value of the item that Evri lost, or the delivery cost you paid for the item? (Ideally both!) Backstory; - An Evri courier literally marked my parcel as "delivered", whilst it was inside their own warehouse - How do I know this? Got a notification that there was an attempted delivery of my parcel this morning but there was no where safe to leave it and now being taken to a parcel point for collection. The postie didn't even press the doorbell (on left side of the gate latch), and we were home this morning. There's also space under the gate door to slide the parcels under. Just frustrating that they couldn't even bother pressing the doorbell and waiting for less than 1 minute for us to answer it.

At our dsp we are told not to Door step parcels. A lot of drivers still just knock, leave at front door and mark as delivered to customer (which requires no picture). If there are no instructions to leave in safe place, we need to reattempt delivery later. Does anyone actually finish their routes on time like this? I had 130 stops today for a 9hr route, and always try wait for customer to open door. But it seems quite difficult to finish on time doing so.

Hi Guys, just wanted to know if there are logistics services companies here. Specifically ung mga Agency po na involved sa Parcel Delivery/Last mile. Usually these are the agencies po na involved with big couriers like SPX, JnT etc. When applying for an agency one requirement is the PEMEDES License issued by DICT, I have already uploaded the documents necessary for the requirements thru their dedicated portal ng DICT. Just wanted to ask if mahirap ba naging experience nyo during application of the license? like how long will it take for the processing, and if baka meron pwedeng mag assist during application sa DICT like broker of some sort if you know what i mean. First, I'm glad this community exists. I don't know how EVRi can even call themselves a delivery company when all you face is issue after issue. I ordered a chair from Zara Home and a table from La Redoute — two separate companies, and having never really had any issues with EVRi before, I thought everything was going to be fine.
