Parcel Delivery and Courier Services of the International

Hi everyone, I have a question to ask. I missed evri's first delivery attempt last night and as soon as the parcelshop option appeared, I chose it but there's still a 2nd failed attempt as in pic. I was at home and didn't see any courier. What confuses me is the update status "your local courier will deliver your parcel between 19:00 and 21:00 today", while all of my previous parcelshop delivery stated "your parcel will be delivered to your chosen parcelshop or locker today, and we'll let you know when it's ready to collect". So now I'm confused whether this attempt will be delivered to my address or the parcelshop. Has anyone encountered ...

Requested on Sunday for it to be delivered to the local post office as I am away all week, yet it was delivered today to a neighbour? Am I missing something?

I've just picked up a script from my doctor for two 15mg Mounjaro pens (hopefully my last two!). I normally use Corry's but note that some of the other UK licenced prescribers are \~£100 cheaper per pen, and would presumably deliver to NI. I'm wondering if anyone on this sub has used a forwarding address in NI for onward delivery to ROI (I'm in Cork so driving to NI isn't practical). I've seen folks here mention Postal Pickup and Border Parcel Motel before - can anyone confirm this by recent experience? Thanks!

I'm just curious about what's happened. One of them was from early December, they then sent out another one towards the end of december. I've also ordered three other things before new year. Up until today, the only post I received since the new year were 24 or 48 hour tracked parcels, but today I received a 2nd class package that I ordered about a week ago from amazon (but they posted it via royal mail 2nd class about 4 days ago). I’ve been frustrated with this question for a couple of years now. Doesn’t matter where I live, the problem is still the same. Polish Post leaves a slip in my mailbox saying I have a mail, and I need to go pick it up. There was an option on their website where I could register with my trusted profile and then the mail could be dropped in the mailbox(no signature required), did that and still got a slip. Delivery services like DPD, InPost, DHL are hit and miss. Sometimes they’ll deliver, other times they claim I wasn’t home(when I was), won’t ring, won’t call even though they have my number, the courier won’t respond to my calls, and just drop the parcel at some pickup point. ...

My parcel was picked up by the courier on the 10th December and now it’s the 13th January and it’s nowhere to be seen. Tracking information hasn’t updated for a while. I’ve not actually ever had an issue with Evri, though I know it’s just down to luck of the draw. But I had a particularly positive experience this morning. Had a delivery of several large parcels arriving that I’d completely forgotten about (just bought my first house so parcels arriving all day every day). I heard the doorbell when I was still in bed, I use a wheelchair so not the swiftest at getting up but I scampered nonetheless. Rather than ditch the parcels on the doorstep the courier called me to check I was in, waited for me to get to the door, and carried the parcels through to the kitchen for me, all without asking.
