Latest Community Discussions About ParcelWhat do I do if my parcel isn’t able to be delivered at all due to my address being unavailable?8h agoSo my parcel was supposed to be delivered today and it was attempted to but turns out while I was out of the house road works had been set up completely blocking off the main road to my house, I had no idea about this and apparently they’re going to stay there for a couple of weeks. The tracking on the parcel says they’ll attempt to deliver tomorrow but obviously that won’t be possible and when I try to change the delivery options it just says there are no other delivery options available for this package, I’m not sure what to do about this situation so any advice is appreciated!! Many threads and reviews here mention being told different stories by the advisors which led to not receiving their package. The estimated day of delivery is in two days from now, but I’m beginning to wonder if it requires intervention by the shipper or on my behalf. I managed to chat with a live assistant that said my parcel is undergoing a clearance delay. They also mentioned the customs system does not require any further documentation or information to clear the goods, as they already have all the necessary paperwork. When can I expect to pay import fees and... 5kg haul, $200 shipping, forced into Shipping Expert, routed through UniUni, now radio silence. What is going on?9h agoI need an explanation because this experience has been beyond frustrating. I shipped roughly 5 kg of clothing to the U.S. during mid January. ((Way before CNY and its been in Dallas way before CNY so please dont default to that answer)) The standard shipping options shown to me were astronomically high, which effectively forced me into using Shipping Expert (as is commonly suggested here). Shipping Expert then gave me ONE option, priced around $200. No alternative routes. No breakdown. No comparison. Just one line. For 5 kg. I assumed that if I was paying that much, the route would be something reasonable like UPS or FedEx, or at least a mid-tier line. Instead, the parcel was routed thr... As crunchyroll made the order on the site for me, i dont have a way to sign into an account with that package Can I upgrade shipping at my own expense as a seller?10h agoI feel like I’ve read something here before about a buyer potentially scamming a seller, and cardmarket siding with the buyer since a different postal service was used to what was purchased? I’ve looked around online and can’t find anything at all! I’ve sold a Pokemon card to a buyer for £200, they purchased small parcel for postage, but I would like to send it as a large letter special delivery. It’s the same courier and will cost more. I’m just nervous of potential scams since the buyer only has 2 previous purchases. I’m sure it will be absolutely fine but want to make sure this isn’t a violation of some policy that’s hard to find on the website? I think I understand the official HMRC rules, but I’m confused about how they work in practice. My understanding: ✅ Parcels under £135 . Overseas seller should collect UK VAT at the point of sale. VAT applies only to the value of the goods (not shipping or insurance). .Because VAT is already paid, parcels usually clear customs without courier handling fees. ✅ Parcels over £135 . Import VAT is charged at the border. . The courier pays HMRC on the buyer’s behalf, then charges the buyer the VAT plus a clearance/handling fee. . VAT this time is calculated on goods + shipping + insurance. Postie missed my collection13h agoI had a collection arranged for a small parcel from my safe place today. This morning, the postie marked my collection as missed but managed to leave me a delivery in the safe place I'm not complaining, just laughing that he couldn't find the collection (in a lovely bright pink packet) but left a delivery next to it. Also, the postie was my husband. I guess he was having a bad day. Is my parcel lost???13h agoHi, I’m sort of spiraling because I may have made a mistake. I bought a special delivery guaranteed 1pm label online and posted the parcel on Sunday around 3pm (after collection time). What I did was take the parcel to the parcel shop, they scanned the QR code and just took it. I didn’t pay attention to see if they actually printed and attached the label - I didn’t do that myself. I’m worried I should’ve printed the label then dropped it off. It includes very important documents that affect my wedding date and if it’s lost there’s not enough time to get replacements. Heck I don’t even know if I should sell everything or should I take some stuff back home and how so. I heard about this parcel service that would go on during that duration, but I think the distance would be too long (destination:Delhi) and so the delivery cost might even exceed the parcel value itself. Also, another curious question, do people sell their mattress (one that they used for 4 years) because mine was around 5k when I bought it and I don’t just want to leave it here as it is. TNF Customer Service Experience14h agoJust had an awful experience with TNF customer service. I ordered a mountain jacket as a warranty replacement for an old rainshell. Used a combo of my CC and the gift card they issued for my warranty to buy it. I was very pleased with the TNF warranty team - they seem to stand by their product. The order shipped via OnTrac. Timeline: 2/15 - TNF ships my order. 2/17 - Parcel arrives at local OnTrac Facility. 2/17-2/20 - Parcel at local facility - no status change. 2/20 - I contact OnTrac to ask why the package is stuck. They respond to say that they are backed up, will deliver as soon as possible. I contact TNF customer service to let them know, to which they say "... Parcelforce 'missed' delivery14h agoI posted a large parcel weighing 20KG using Express24 to a customer's address where I was also performing other work. I was at the customer's site on the delivery day and later saw the "missed delivery-no answer" message on the tracker. CCTV and the 24/7 manned security post show that no such delivery was attempted. There's a next day guarantee with a 50% refund for late deliveries. However performing a scan for "missed delivery-no answer" seems both fraudulent and a way for parcelforce to worm it's way out of the guarantee. How do I contest this with parcelforce to get my 50% refund? I paid for a premium product in good faith and expect the terms... Is 2 weeks normal for “shipped” item to reach warehouse? No update from agent15h agoHey CSSBuy community / everyone, I’m a bit stuck and frustrated, so looking for some real talk from recent users. Ordered an item \~2 weeks ago (seller shipped quick). It’s still not showing up at the warehouse, no updates on tracking or status. This one piece is literally the last item I need to submit/consolidate my whole haul for shipping – so everything’s on hold, super inconvenient. I’ve opened tickets and messaged my agent multiple times → complete radio silence, no replies at all. I know Chinese New Year just happened (Feb 17th-ish, holiday shutdowns, etc.), and delays are expected with suppliers/factories slow to restart. But from what I’ve read, agents/warehouses ... I reached out to the customer, sorted them out with a refund. And then contacted ebay Packlink so I could file a damage claim. I’ve attached photos of what the parcel looked like, and the contents inside. It was four star wars action figures. Packlink have responded this to me: We regret to inform you that the content of the shipment is classified as a Prohibited or Non-Compensation item. Two of my orders from last week were sadly canceled because they were affected in the local hub, which was the second to the last hub before having been delivered to me, by Typhoon Basyang.
