Hey everyone, I recently moved back to Las Vegas and have been looking for work. I got my CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions in December 2025 in Long Beach, CA. I have about 5 months of CDL experience and around 8 years of driving experience overall. I’ve already checked RTC but there weren’t any openings. Transdev only has overnight positions right now, which I can’t do because of daycare scheduling, and I’m still waiting to hear back from Greyhound. Hi all, I was walking home today after work, while crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing (when the crossing sign turned green for pedestrians) when an Amazon delivery driver decided they were done waiting at the red light, reved up and hit a dog being walked by its owner right behind me. The poor dog was badly hurt and soon died by the roadside while I and passersbys tried to help. First of all, sorry, but for some unknown reason I could not post the images. I am a bit disappointed but it looks like I will need a 3-3-6 or even a 3-3-12. I adopted my ex-racer (Nico), who just turned 3 years old in March, on the 2nd of January this year. So I am just out of the 3-3-3. Having read most of r/Greyhounds posts here, I know that it could take longer than 3 months to fully decompress and adjust. I also know that the boy had only spent 2 weeks out of its racing kennel, with a rescue staff which had a non-related issue that meant that she could not keep him longer, before coming to my place. Nico was adopted 8 weeks ago. I thought I was a very experienced dog owner and I might very well be, but a greyhound expert I am not.
