Latest Community Discussions About GreyhoundAny CDL Class B Jobs in Las Vegas Hiring New Drivers?8h agoHey everyone, I recently moved back to Las Vegas and have been looking for work. I got my CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions in December 2025 in Long Beach, CA. I have about 5 months of CDL experience and around 8 years of driving experience overall. I’ve already checked RTC but there weren’t any openings. Transdev only has overnight positions right now, which I can’t do because of daycare scheduling, and I’m still waiting to hear back from Greyhound. I also applied to Waste Management, but they turned me down even though the posting said 2 years CDL experience was preferred, not required. I’m definitely not afraid of hard or dirty work — I wor... 1a División del Ejército de Colombia: a quick Warno write-up on in-game soon-to-be Colombian Armed Forces8d ago*Disclaimer: none of the photos below are mine. Credit is given to where it is due, particularly to the America Militar forum.* So Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba and Brazil will be added to Warno. This write-up, which dates back to January, hadn’t seen the light of day due to key weaknesses and equipment gaps that I myself perceived in the region that ended up discouraging the project. Maybe that says more about my lack of skill at building good battlegroups than about what could actually be included in the game’s systems. Hence, the purpose of these posts is more documentary than focused on gameplay or balance. Without further ado, the first of 4 write-ups I’ll be delivering to give yo... Amazon Driver ran red light at pedestrian crossing, killing a man's dog today.10d agoHi all, I was walking home today after work, while crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing (when the crossing sign turned green for pedestrians) when an Amazon delivery driver decided they were done waiting at the red light, reved up and hit a dog being walked by its owner right behind me. The poor dog was badly hurt and soon died by the roadside while I and passersbys tried to help. The driver sped off even though they clearly saw what happened, but was stopped in traffic not far off, so someone who had witnessed the hit and run shouted at the driver to pull over and that they had hit a dog. The drivers window was open, they heard what was said, and still sped off. I called the police... Feel free to read it, but I don't think you'll get anything out of it. Dear Pirate, I doubt that you'll ever see this, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about you and need to get some things oout. First things first, I'm doing well. I'm finally getting the new shift and can be human again. Missing you, but still making progress on things that are important to me. I hope all is well with you, but in case you see this and need a laugh - and maybe some warm and fuzzy feelings to go with it - I wanted to share a few things (well, it's a few in my head,... Completed 3-3-335d agoFirst of all, sorry, but for some unknown reason I could not post the images. I am a bit disappointed but it looks like I will need a 3-3-6 or even a 3-3-12. I adopted my ex-racer (Nico), who just turned 3 years old in March, on the 2nd of January this year. So I am just out of the 3-3-3. Having read most of r/Greyhounds posts here, I know that it could take longer than 3 months to fully decompress and adjust. I also know that the boy had only spent 2 weeks out of its racing kennel, with a rescue staff which had a non-related issue that meant that she could not keep him longer, before coming to my place. Now the disappointment comes from the fact that in the three months I have had it he... Completed 3-3-335d agoI am a bit disappointed but it looks like I will need a 3-3-6 or even a 3-3-12. New Greyhound Owner77d agoNico was adopted 8 weeks ago. I thought I was a very experienced dog owner and I might very well be, but a greyhound expert I am not. Of course I have come to realize that greyhounds, or at least Nico, and others from reading this reddit, are not at all like other dogs. Nico is well within the last 3 of the 3-3-3, so there is hope. Plus the fact that, reading this reddit, the last 3 might very well be a 6 or a 12 months for greyhounds. To tell you about Nico. He will be three years old next month and is an ex-racer. Probably not a very good one given his age and the fact that he was put up for adoption so early. On the positive side, he is super easy, learns very fast, has settled in the ... Exploring Crogwallin & Burngullow97d agoI went exploring yesterday at the Crogwallin and Burngullow West Dryers, two abandoned buildings once used for the processing of china clay near St Austell. Clay was first worked in this area during the 1880s, with early development around Burngullow partly funded by Frank Parkyn with rail connections to both the St Dennis Branch Line and the Great Western Main Line allowing dried clay to be transported out of the district. To the east sit the iconic Blackpool Dryers beside the main line, built in 1965 as part of a major modernisation of the china clay industry in mid-Cornwall. These newer facilities would eventually come to dominate production in the area. In 1929, a major expansion took... More interesting notes and positions from Fred Harris' The New Populism (1973)130d agoPage 5: "There, exactly, is the problem with traditional liberalism, the flaw in "‘conscience”" politics. Our society should not depend upon charity, not even charity by government. People want what’s rightly theirs. It is that kind of system to which they thought they had assented." Page 10: "The New Populism is against bigness, against concentrated economic and political power—whether it is in government, corporations, unions, or institutions." Page 16: "Economic justice should not depend solely upon government programs. Bureaucracy tends to grow, according to Parkinson’s law. It also tends to become charity oriented, and it tends to become r... It ended at the Tennessee River... Pt 1143d ago# 1 “You are my miracle baby. The whole universe conspired to keep you from me, but here you are anyway. My sweet little angel. I love you,” These are the first words Mattie ever spoke to her son. She was covered in sweat, hot tears streaming down her red and swollen face. Thirty hours of labor had wreaked havoc on her body. Waves of black swam in her vision. She thought it was exhaustion, the trauma of childbirth, the complicated pregnancy, but her body was failing. She was conscious long enough to see the shift in the doctor’s expression as alarms started going off. Her first thought was for Gabriel, the newborn weighing so heavy in her tired arms. He was so tiny. How could he fee... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
