I've always wondered why we haven't seen an LTL carrier compete to be the finest worldwide carrier for delivery shipments, such as the best in air cargo, LCL less than container load, and LTL less than truckload with terminals. I would love to see an American company purchase Maersk and Cargolux like FedEx freight, XPO, R&L freight, etc., and become the only shipper to use them. Why haven't we seen it yet? Is it simply too difficult? We've only ever seen someone succeed in one of these areas, never all three. Too complicated? Posting here as well because it's my last resort with the issue I have with MTN & DSV I had placed an order and paid for an MTN router on the 4th of March. Throughout the week I got all emails & proof of my order and payment, got a lot of numbers; reference number, account number, order number to track my order on the DSV website of which I've tried entering them multiple times on the DSV website the day I was given the reference numbers and also via link I got via email from '[email protected]' on the 6th, one that mentioned there's a delivery appointment set which was 11 March. So I want to order from a specific retailer in the UK. They use the Royal Mail for international shipping, no issues with that. My concern is for once the stuff lands here in South Africa how will it go from there to my house or workplace? If they're using like Courier Guy or DSV or something to do the local delivery I've got no issues but if it has to fall under the remit of our postal service is the purchase going to get to me or will it be lost to the void? If it helps I'm not ordering anything really big. Too big for an envelope but small enough to fit in like a tiny box, might be packaged in a blisterpack.

Did your DSV Track&Trace update after booking? Are the requested pick-up and delivery dates accurate? I ordered my HM on October 30, and HM emailed me that I'd receive the chair in appr. 5 days according to my location. Received an email from DSV on November 4 that expected collection would be November 6, and latest delivery November 20. Their Track&Trace hasn't updated since booking and requested delivery is now November 20.

Hi, Last week I just pulled the trigger and bought a Black Herman Miller Embody from Herman Miller Gaming Website (Europe-Italy). The day after I received an e-mail saying the chair was shipped and I would have been contacted by the local courier (DSV) to arrange the delivery. The e-mail states that delivery should take place within 12 business days. Are there any European buyers who have had experience with Herman Miller Gaming (Europe) and DSV? Can you share your experience? Thank you
