Online DTDC Tracking

I recently got a message from DTDC about a delivered package on my phone number. I wasn't expecting a parcel and didn't send one either. At first I thought it might be spam so I just used the shipment in message to track it. And someone Delivered a package from Chennai to Thandalam. But the question is why did I got a message? Can anyone help me with it? Is it some kind of scam or my phone number is being used by someone ?

I’m planning to send a parcel from Navi Mumbai to Pondicherry for the first time and could use some advice. The package will have chocolates, keychains, and earrings. I ordered something from a Facebook page a few days back, and on Friday they sent me the receipt and told me my parcel had been shipped. Cut to today I got a call from my nearby DTDC office saying I needed to collect it from the office because they wouldn’t deliver it to my home. I actually needed the parcel urgently, so I didn’t ask anything and went to collect it. The office was around 4 km away from my house. Is this the norm with DTDC? A few days ago I received a message from DTDC saying my order will be delivered- I had no idea what this was because I wasn’t expecting anything, I also asked people around me nobody had sent anything. The message that came.on delivery mentioned someone's name and we do t know that person.. I am.not sure how they gave it to them when it clearly mentioned my name on the parcel.. Contacted md support, they always assure; parcel is near you and will reach in 24 hrs. It's been a week and no updates from them. No further updates on DTDC side, md computers is not taking any responsibility from their side. When asked for cancellation their response was to pay 5% of total value. was going to get a parcel on jan 5 by dtdc, it showed out for delivery on 5th and 2 mins later it showed delivered, but its jan 7 today and i still havent got it.
