It has been 4 months since I signed the C&R but it is FINALLY approved. Now just waiting on that check. So I am curious…. how does insurance know it has been offered? EAMS, defense or does the court notify directly? When it comes, is it going to be a normal envelope or a larger Manila envelope with other documents? I only ask because I have USPS informed delivery and I don’t get notified of Manila’s for some reason. In the past, my husband & I have each had a WC settlement. In both cases they had 30 days to pay but we had our checks about a week after the judge signed. I did not know anything about EAMS back then & we dealt with insurance directly.
