So far, having an EU passport for my dog, I was able to fly out from Heathrow (to Greece every summer) and have her in the cabin because she is under 7kg. Usually with Lufthansa as they allow pets in cabin. On the way back, the dog will return by car with a pet courier, because otherwise she had to fly cargo and then quarantine (i believe?).
