I've been importing goods from Portugal to the US via air freight, with a freight forwarder who uses FedEx. I do this because my shipments are small and I want them fast. When you buy something from China and it has to be shipped to the USA via DDP Air, the tracking codes I receive are only for the last mile (FedEx, DHL, etc.), but I never receive a tracking code from China to the USA. This always happens to me on Alibaba; however, when I buy through Superbuy, they provide me with a tracking code from China to the USA. Could someone clarify if this behavior is normal or if it is to hide that the shipment is being sent via fast sea freight?
