Hey everyone, I’m currently a first-year student at BITS Pilani (Pilani campus) in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering (ESE). Before I explain my situation, here’s some context: • I come from a very well-settled business family , so placements or financial security aren’t a concern for me. • I scored 98.3 percentile in JEE Mains and 14.5k rank in JEE Advanced 2025. • I initially planned for BITS 2+2 and was confident I’d get CSE with my BITSAT-1 score. • Unfortunately, I couldn’t appear for BITSAT-2 because my nani passed away on the exam day, and later I found out my passport DOB doesn’t match my 10th/12th marksheets so I couldn’t pursue the 2+2 plan abroad....
