Hi all, I live in a rented property in England. My tenancy agreement was for a fixed term of 12 months starting on 21 December 2024, and it expired in December 2025. The landlord/letting agent has not issued a renewal, and I am currently still living in the property. Rent is payable "in advance by equal monthly payments on the 21st day of each month", and I paid my first rent on 21/12/2024. Rent has always been paid monthly on the 21st. I was browsing Drake Maye cards on whatnot a couple weeks ago and found a Drake Maye card at a really good price. After I bought it I was thinking to myself, man that was a really good deal! That, that may have been too good of a deal! I looked up comps of the sellers other cards and they’re all listed thousands of dollars below comps. On top of that, the pictures of the cards in the listings were the same pictures from old eBay listings. I live in England and recently bought a sim racing wheel bundle from a UK-based retailer with headquarters in Scotland. The product is faulty: under normal use it repeatedly disconnects whenever force feedback is applied, making it unusable for its intended purpose. I notified the retailer 3 days after delivery, from research I believe I am therefore exercising my short-term right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The company accepts that I can return the product for a refund, but they are refusing to arrange free return shipping unless I first contact the manufacturer, open a support ticket with them, and obtain confirmation from the manufacturer that the product is faulty. ...

I sent a product back to a business over the Christmas period. I sent the delivery tracked signed-for with Royal Mail. Royal Mail attempted delivery twice, then it was marked as ready for collection at the nearest delivery office. I emailed them chasing up a refund, and they said they were closed during the Christmas period and I needed to re-arrange delivery. I phoned Royal Mail, who said it can't be re-delivered and it needs collection. The recipient is refusing to collect it, saying I need to re-arrange delivery and it's not their problem if delivery failed. Am I still totally responsible for this?

There is another house on my road, whose residents keep ordering deliveries to my house. It was ok the first few times (we thought it would’ve been a mistake when ordering) but it’s been happening repeatedly now. We are concerned as to why this family keeps ordering to our address and we’re not sure what to do as it may well be a scam. The address is mine but the name is theirs. I joined Frive in December last year with a referral code from a friend. The vegetarian selection was limited but generally tasty. My deliveries are scheduled for a Monday and I live in Edinburgh (for context). This is the 3rd Monday where I’ve checked the DPD tracking and it’s delayed and still down in England. Even if it arrives at the Edinburgh depot, they are binning it due to the expiry date on the parcel.
