I’ve read a handful of posts/comments here from over the last few years but most responses are quite vague. I’m specifically looking at the machine in the photo above. From home gym US companies, they’re right around $2-3k. On Alibaba, the seemingly same piece is around $500. Obviously, shipping can be a major cost there. I have experience setting up freight forwarders/LTL and would be comfortable arranging my own, which would certainly help bring that cost down. Since most of these home gym companies are importing from China, anyway, what would the major downfalls be in buying from Alibaba?
