Latest Community Discussions About JCEXEtihad Airways has announced the Harare route2h agoEtihad Airways has added Harare to its network of routes. In a statement last week, the airline said, “Etihad Airways today announced a significant expansion of its Africa network, adding new routes to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ghana, Nigeria and Zimbabwe from Abu Dhabi, as part of its continued global growth strategy.” Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, said**:** “Africa is a natural and compelling next step in Etihad’s network expansion. These are markets with strong underlying demand, driven by trade, investment and population growth. Our role is to provide the connectivity that enables that growth. “Demand for air connectivity ... booking flights through the middle east later this year?2h agoI’m planning a trip for Oct/Nov (London Heathrow - Hong Kong, returning Seoul - London Heathrow) and the best options price-wise are with Qatar or Etihad via Doha/Abu Dhabi. Normally I’d book without hesitation, but with the current situation in the Middle East I’m a bit worried about disruptions or cancellations. I’m worried about the risk of flights getting cancelled, rerouted, or things becoming unpredictable closer to departure. As well as this, where ever I go, I usually do a 2-3 night stopover so would that be safe to do in the middle east? Would you consider it safe enough to book those routes for later this year? Also, is it worth paying extra to fly direct with British Air... is booking flights through the middle east later this year too risky?2h agoI’m planning a trip for Oct/Nov (London Heathrow - Hong Kong, returning Seoul - London Heathrow) and the best options price-wise are with Qatar or Etihad via Doha/Abu Dhabi. Australia and Anduril - Autonomous Weapons, Global Expansion, and the Architecture of a Captured Defence Ecosystem2h ago*This is the second post in a series examining Anduril Industries. The first post covered the Australian Ghost Shark program, the sovereignty questions around Lattice software, and what Anduril's CEO told the Australian parliament about accountability.* *This post examines Anduril's global weapons portfolio, its operational deployments, its failures, and how it is systematically positioning itself as the indispensable technology layer of Western military power.* # What Anduril Actually Makes Anduril is not primarily a drone company or a submarine company. It is a software company that sells the argument that its software (Lattice) should be the operating system connecting every ... [World] - US-Iran talks in the air as high-seas ship seizure reignites Hormuz tensions | South China Morning Post2h agoДешёвых билетов в Японию, Корею и Китай больше не будет: китайские...3h agoРаньше у них можно было купить билеты в Токио или Сеул за 40.000₽ в обе стороны, но теперь цены взлетели в 2 раза. Причины — подорожание топлива из-за войны на Ближнем Востоке и подготовка к майским праздникам в Китае. В итоге на первую половину мая отменено 35% международных рейсов, а по некоторым направлениям в Юго-Восточную Азию — до 80%. iPad Air M3 (11 inch) - Sealed box (Great Deal)3h agoSelling a completely **brand new, sealed box iPad Air M3 (11-inch)** * Condition: **Unopened, sealed pack** * Reason for selling: Not needed anymore * Market price: \~₹58K online * Asking price: **₹50K** * Location: Ecity phase 1, Bangalore Perfect if you’re looking to save \~8K without compromising on that “new device unboxing” experience. Incense 01 - Review, Hype & UK Stock Availability3h agoSo this is a fragrance that's been hyped like crazy and in UK that has resulted in it being sold out pretty much everywhere. As some of you know I'm proper into my Swiss Arabian and I've been trying to pick this one up for a while. I recently got a hold of one (don't ask how much I paid for it...) To me it's a beautiful scent. The notes (listed below) are really well blended and the incense is there but not dialed up (we are talking elegant aroma rather than campfire). I definitely pick up on the fig which combined with the lily of the valley makes this a lot more juicer than I expected. It's a complex/niche fragrance and has depth. The frankincense and woods ... "Is this a rich man's hobby?" Ogoniff asked, his voice sounding like a YouTube processing error.3h agoIn the flickering neon glow of a world fueled by **#DreamScreenAI**, reality has become a cubism masterpiece of surreal proportions. This is the story of a single, chaotic Tuesday. # The Morning Commute The day began in a flurry of "rich man’s hobbies." In the upscale suburbs, people dodged **golf** balls and **pickleball** paddles, while others spent fortunes on **weed** and **photography** equipment. Meanwhile, at the local post office, the police were busy arresting an **Ogoniff** found sleeping on a mailbox—a scene captured by a passing tourist and uploaded to a **Dropbox** folder labeled "#firstamendment." China demonstrates microwave beam that recharges drones in flight, continues power delivery3h agoA chaotic bike trip around Taiwan infodump4h agoSeveral years ago a friend told me about their bike tour around Taiwan, and as someone who’d studied mandarin for years, the seed planted and grew into a goal of mine. And now I’ve done it! And here is how I did it. I imagine this can serve as both a guide for some and maybe a cautionary tale for people who have different travel style from me…. TLDR: \- If you want to do it, you can do it! I was weak af and did it anyway. If you go clockwise and make it to Dapu, you can make it up the mountains!! Go!!! \- The farmland and the mountains were my favorite part! \- Weekends in touristy regions are Hellish. Avoid tourist spots on weekends as best you can. \- The sun is hot: hotter than... Combating Climate Change4h agoAfrican investing, a truly ugly theme worthy of consideration.4h agoAfrica is often overlooked, but it's one of the most promising growth opportunities for the next 50 years. Wealth is already being created there; I observe this in the stock market, as Wall Street quietly invests in Africa. Billionaires are moving significant capital into the region, and conflicts over resources, land, and markets are evident. Those in the know recognize Africa as a vital engine for the global economy. As an UglyStonks investor, I’m unafraid to explore what’s beneath the surface. Upon doing so, I identified five intriguing stocks that may attract interest from those willing to consider Africa, a continent home to 1.5 billion people. My list reflects my own bia... Stop Guessing: Why South Florida Families Are Switching To SMILE-FX® AI Braces™ In 20264h agoMost parents in Broward are getting scammed by "off-the-shelf" orthodontics. They think a brace is a brace. It’s not. There’s a massive gap between "good enough" and "precision engineering." If you’re in Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Weston, or Davie, here is why your kid’s smile might be at risk—and how to actually fix it. *** ### The "General Dentist" Trap General dentists are great for cleanings. But most use manual bracket placement. It’s guesswork. **The Result:** * Longer treatment times (years of metal in their mouth). * Multiple extra office visits for "tweaks" that shouldn't be necessary. * Incomplete alignment ... Anduril and Australia - Autonomous Submarine Deal: Sovereign Capability or Captured Technology?4h ago*This is the first in a series examining Anduril Industries; the autonomous weapons company that has become one of Australia's most significant defence partners.* *This post focuses on the Australian relationship, the Ghost Shark program, and the questions the government isn't answering. Later posts will examine Anduril's global operations, its deep structural ties to Palantir Technologies, and the network of executives and ideologues who built and now run both companies.* **The Announcement** On 10 September 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles stood at Fleet Base East in Sydney Harbour and announced that the Australian Government was committing $1.7 billion to ...
