hello everyone! this morning i booked two tickets flying home from rome through air china, and the money hasn’t been deducted from my account. i got a confirmation email and pdf with all the details. i contacted my bank and they said there was a partial transaction but that there was a merchant issue and it had been cancelled. i’ve tried contacting and emailing air china’s customer service but it’s an absolute nightmare and not made any better by the fact i live in new zealand. does anyone know if air china retries failed payments or if i need to try cancelling my flight and rebooking it? should i rebook using my visa card again or paypal? thank you so much !

This morning I booked a flight from Sydney to Beijing with Air China for May. The booking went through and I paid by credit card. I received the confirmation screen and email. A few minutes later, they refunded the money to my account. There has been no communication from them about it. I called their office and tried to pay, but they are claiming the ticket is showing as good in their system.
