I live in a 3rd floor apartment without an elevator. There's an interior, fully enclosed stairwell. I'm planning to order a window air conditioner that weighs \~85 pounds but can't carry it upstairs on my own, so I'm looking at delivery options. An associate at my local Home Depot said I could add "Threshold Delivery" for $99, and the associate said this service would include carrying the air conditioner upstairs. I questioned whether the "threshold" considered would be the ground floor of my building at the bottom of the stairs vs my individual apartment, and the associate said it would be my apartment.
