I just purchased on 2018 Chrysler Pacifica from Carvana on Wednesday, April 15th. Prior to delivery, their associate contacted me to say that the air conditioning wasn’t blowing “cool” and he would put a claim in for me and it wouldn’t be an issue. I was told to go to an in-network mechanic, which I did (Pep Boys). Pep Boys looked at it and stated the AC compressor was replaced in 2025 and for whatever reason they didn’t put freon in after the replacement. They put in a claim with Silver Rock who promptly denied it as “wear and tear.” Pep boys was going to charge me $497 to do it, which after just purchasing a car I couldn’t afford.
