I got fed up with missing deliveries so invented a smart parcel delivery box - iParcelBox. It’s specifically designed to make life quick and easy for posties and couriers: there are no codes required, just a button on the front of the box. When you arrive at the customer’s house, just press the button. If the box is empty it’ll immediately unlock. There’s a code inside you can scan as proof of delivery, the close the lid and it’ll lock. If it’s already full when you arrive, the light will flash red and the owner can allow the delivery from their phone. It’s much more responsive than ring doorbells so usually only takes a few second...
