I had a parcel scheduled for delivery today via GLS and even paid an additional fee for the delivery. I stayed home all day and was actively tracking the shipment. At one point the tracker showed “arriving now”, and the very next moment the status changed to “delivery could not be made because the recipient was not home” — followed by a message saying the parcel was rerouted to the nearest parcel station. The strange part is that I was home the entire time and specifically keeping an eye out for the delivery. There was no doorbell ring, no call, and no delivery attempt. I can't find much information on GLS. I have read that royal mail delivers their parcels? For over two months, GLS have been trying to deliver my parcel. It vanishs for a while, I contact the place I purchased from, and then they attempt delivery again. They never knock or ring my doorbell. At a loss! Is there any way to get a shop collection? There is absolutely no information on their website (on the English one). Tried calling too but no luck.

So I ordered some paint in early january (first time ordering from revell themself) from France. delivery was initially planned for 5 days laters, it took 1 one week for the package to be handed over to gls and 2 weeks to even reach france. Hi everyone, I need some advice. I ordered a phone on AliExpress from a seller with stock in France. I tried to cancel the order right after buying, but the seller shipped it anyway. The parcel is now at the GLS Pickup Point. When I went to pick it up, the shop owner told me the parcel is "locked by the sender" in their system and they cannot give it to me. My questions: Has anyone experienced this "Sender Lock" with GLS? Is it possible the seller blocked it because of my cancellation request? I'm afraid that if I don't pick it up, it will be returned to the sender and I'll struggle to get a refund.
