Online GLS Tracking

Well gang. Popped a message to steam support today regarding my steam deck shipping not updating in a week. I'll post their response here. TLDR: GLS shipping delayed in Dublin by 7-10 days, other areas delayed by 3-5 days. Might help someone here! cheers!

A couple days ago I sold a curling iron to a buyer from Slovenia (I'm from Poland). I shipped it and it got stuck for a few days at a sorting center (I had previously sold internationally, parcels usually get stuck when changing countries so I wasn't worried). Today I got confirmation it finally arrived, but the buyer messeged me that they received a completely differnt thing from what they paid for. I asked for some pics and the buyer got a brand new pair of Ugg boots (with original packeging and all). I suspect that when my parcel changed shipping companies (in Poland it was handled by Inpost, later by GLS) somehow it got a wrong waybill attached to it. I tried to reach out to G...

I ordered a SD for Christmas present on 25 November. It was handed to GLS on 28 November and it reached the country of destination on 5 December but until now, there is no update on the tracking. I have contacted GLS and this was what their response *"We sincerely apologise for the delay and inconvenience. As we checked, the parcel # does not have any recent scans. We will be starting a search request to locate the parcel and we request you to kindly share the invoice and the detailed description of the contents and the outer packaging of the parcel for the same."* I have contacted steam support regarding this request from them as this is the first time I have been asked t...

Sorry if this isn't allowed - but I've seen plenty posts wondering about shipping times to UK/Ireland recently (I'm in Northern Ireland) and since I've been waiting about 2 weeks now for my Deck I reached out to Steam support. Although tracking says my package has been stuck in France for 5 days now, it sounds like there's a good chance it's in Ireland but delays here have meant it's not been scanned in yet. Bom dia, então eu encomendei uns itens numa empresa reconhecida e o tempo de entrega era só um dia útil, passados agora uns quantos dias a encomenda não atualiza e só diz que está no centro de GLS que não sei o que é. Hai salut, m-am plimbat azi 40 de minute in piata Orizont (care e fff mica oricum) in Sectorul 6 si nu gasesc acel ParcelShop GLS cu numele "Bluorizont 27 SRL". Stie cineva unde/care este? In aplicatia GLS imi arata ca ar fi la Casa de pensii Locala Sector 6 dar nu pare sa fie nimic pe acolo care sa indice "parcelshop". Imi pierd mintile, aplicatia GLS nu ajuta, vanzatorul nu livreaza la sameday easybox pentru ca de ce ar face-o?

Recently Cardmarket changed the cheapest shipping option for orders within Denmark to be max 20 grams at € 3.38. I made them aware that the courier DAO still allows letters up to 100 grams at that same price, and that the change was a mistake. Got a response today from support saying that they are aware that DAO allows up to 100 grams, but that it’s CM policy to have a shipping option allowing only 4 cards. This means that if you want to buy more than four cards within Denmark you have to pay almost three times as much in shipping, since the next available option on CM is tracked parcel with GLS up to 1000 grams. TLDR update: got an email on 1st December saying GLS were waiting to receive my package then heard absolutely nothing until this morning. RM emailed me to to say my parcel will be delivered this afternoon/evening. The tracking for these parcels is diabolical. Hopefully RM deliver. Okay, I am making this post because perhaps there are other people like me that were/are very excited to get their steamdeck that they recently purchased, but the anxiety and expectation of having it in your hands is making you search on reddit; which will most likely lead you to a bit of despair since most the posts are about GLS messing up the order, or stealing it, or the delivery just failing and all going to shambles.
