I had a flight from Portland to DC this morning. Last night I stopped by CVS for a flu test, and tested positive. Tried cancelling my flight on the way home. Flight was in 11 hours. I first tried canceling the flight in the app, but it was unable to. So I googled "alaskaair gold phone number", and called the number that popped up while driving home. The person on the call (clearly an Indian call center, but she claimed her name was "Stacy Smith") was a little vague, she kept saying she was with the "reservation desk". She never asked my MVP number, and oddly when I told her my flight number was AS 10, she asked if that was "A as in Apple, F as in Frank&...

This is my 2nd time opting to pay for the app and take advantage of the black friday sale. Before getting the paid version, I noticed 2 flights that I inputted initially were already in there. After paying earlier yesterday for the full version, Im seeing all my AA and Jetblue flights populate automatically. But none of my Delta flights populate. I guess Im wondering, how does it happen that some auto populate the app and others dont. And how do you populate? Is it easier to do by inoutting only the PNR or by flight number? Any other tips on how to make the most of this app? Trying to see the value of it & make the most of it.

I was on a Delta flight from Des Moines Iowa to LGA Nyc on Sunday afternoon/ evening. When we landed in New York, Port Authority police were waiting on the jet bridge for the last two passengers to get off the plane. Two people, one male roughly aged 20-30 ish and a women aged 40-50 ish I believe they were Russian or perhaps Slavic of some sort. When they got into the gate area the police mentioned they had received a call 30 mins prior saying they believed these two individuals were involved in human trafficking. I am looking to see if anyone else was in the airport at the time or on my flight and knows any other info.

A month and a half ago, I flew to Europe and back with Lufthansa. The points for the leg of the flight showed up right away afterwards, but the points for the return flight didn’t. I went to enter the missing points, and received an error message that I had entered the wrong arrival or destination airport. Why am I forced to call the 136789 call centre to change any part of any flight that I book? I always book direct via virgin website not through agents. I always Book flex, not lite. I am a Gold velocity member. This has been the case for at least 12 months. I will say that at least once last year I went through an agent but then reverted to booking myself. Has my account been tagged to go via the call centre as some sort of preference? The challenge is that it takes ages to go through the flight options. Selling 9 discs along with a sling bag and mini marker as a bundle. All discs were purchased this year and used for most of the season, so I’d rate them 7/10 based on this subs scale. Most of the discs were purchased earlier this year for me to practice hot dyeing and to use as spares for some of my friends who don’t have their own gear. I am flying with my family into the country where I reside. They are coming as tourists so I am booking a return ticket from their home country for them. Since I will be accompanying them just one way I thought I will book one way ticket. So would i go about booking a return ticket for them first separately and then buying a one way ticket for me on the same flight number that I bought for them ? How would you do this ?

UA 877 operating with 77W was cancelled on 11/20 and 11/24. They are substituted by a 772 in flight number 3xxx which departed on time. UA flight status page shows it is cancelled due to operational reason. Is this a downsizing due to load factor? Anyone has some insight?

I’m flying IAD to EWR on 12/23, flight # 2866 and my mom is flying into EWR on the same day from LAX. Her flight number is 1939. I know that United uses Terminal A and C at EWR. Do you think we will be flying into the same terminal? Also, we are flying out of EWR on 1/2/26 on flight 661 to ORD for me and flight 2238 to LAX for her. Hey kids. I’ve found that I love throwing the Innova Classic Aviar and want to know if there are other discs that use the Classic mold but with higher end plastics? I throw these off the tee, fairway, approach, for putts etc. Any other discs that use the same mold with 2 3 0 0 flights numbers and better plastic, or should I just roll with the fools old grid stamped Innovas? Just wanted to share this because if it helps even one person avoid the stonewalling I got from Ryanair, it’s worth it. My Ryanair flight from Madeira was delayed by over 12 hours, including an overnight, and we were explicitly told to claim reimbursement for hotel + transport. Actually I didn't dare to use any taxis in Pisa, if I tried uber, i would pay **45 EUR** for a trip from the airport to Pisa Centrale station which is less than 2km. Uber also tells me I can order taxi and it would be **25 - 29 EUR**. I would assume that Uber somehow calculates that taxi price based on local taxi tariffs. But how come it could be 25 EUR for less than 2 kilometers?? I’ve been contacted by JetBlues executive office after an email was sent to Joanna Geraghty JetBlues CEO to express my concerns for my clients being treated a certain way. I would like to collaborate with JetBlue to see if we can come to a solution.
