Hi everyone, I'm a Master's student at Reutlingen University (Germany), and for my thesis I'm researching whether in-flight turbulence can be automatically detected from public ADS-B flight data. The idea is to identify turbulence events from how aircraft actually move in the air (based on ADS-B & Mode-S data, e.g. vertical rate and correlations in the data). My father brought a phone with him from omman to turkey and the moment i connected to wifi it got locked, now it says to make a request from carlcare app. But i have a few questions there first of all where can i find device id? Is it just nova 7 or smth else also whoose id should i use the mine or my fathers also he came to turkey with ship not plane but it asks me for a flight number so what can i do can i get some help?

I have BPI platinum rewards mastercard and I used it to book ticket flights last October 2025. I sent a request through BPI Help first in March to get a certificate of coverage (insurance) in case things go wrong. Now, someone replied and asked me to send further details. I provided everything immediately, the flight number, ticket screenshot, etc. Never got a reply after that. Fast forward to May 2026, I decided to call their hotline and ask for the same. Regarding my old request, CSR said they have no visibility on that and that they'll just create a new request. Gave me SR # and told me what to send. I noticed AA127 (DFW → Shanghai) on May 22, 2026 got diverted to Tokyo Haneda (HND) and then continued to Shanghai the next day (May 23) under the same flight number. I couldn’t find an official explanation and I’m curious what caused it. I also found another AA127 disruption in February 2025, when the flight reportedly returned to Dallas due to a maintenance issue before continuing later that day. It looks Iike this route have one of this events at least a couple times per year, they just don’t publish it. Does anyone know how to find the actual reason a flight was diverted? Are there public logs, FAA records, or airline status reports that become available?

So this plane is currently flying to St Maarten from Amsterdam. I know St Maarten doesnt usually take 747’s anymore and KLM I think operate A330’s to St Maarten although this flight is a bit of a mystery to me as there’s very little info on the actual aircraft. If anyone can find out more info than I can then that would be great. Otherwise I’ll watch the live stream of St Maarten and see what comes into land

Brand new to National Car Rental. I’m Executive due to my AmEx card. I booked a full size SUV which was listed as Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada or similar to be picked up at the Portland, OR airport. Upon arrival, I was told they had no cars. I have been trying to make a taxi airport reservation, but it asks for a fligh number and i do not know what that is? Is that a reservarion number? ENTIRE SHOW SPOILERS I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this before but in Oceanic Flight 815 the flight number matches up with the numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42). But also to go further the numbers 8 and 15 correspond with Hurley and Sawyer….the only two candidates to survive and get off the island might be reaching but I feel like this is a possibility? Let me know if anyone else has found this

I just threw my oldest disc in the water today. It was the last of my DX starter pack from around 15 years ago. My olde trusty Buzzz. It was from before the modern flight numbers and only worth maybe $5. I threw it over the same two ponds for over a decade and couldn’t seem to lose it until today. I got this mid range a few years ago up at the Preserve and cannot for the life of me remember what it is. There’s no embossed information, and the stamp is custom from the Preserve. It flies like a very high glide 5 speed, though the width of the rim is almost like a 6 but without the usual change in sharpness like 6 speeds have compared to 5s. If I had to put flight numbers on it I’d say 6/5(or 6)/0/-1. It holds turn well, but thrown flat is extremely straight with a touch of turn. Anyone know what this is?

I mostly throw backhand but have been working more on my forehand this year to try and get a little more distance. I’ve been able to get a little more speed but can’t figure out how to get the nose down or increase my spin. This one was really wobbly and a lot of anny but my fastest so far
