Recently I've got it in my head that I want to start competing. I recognize that I wasn't going to be that good cuz I never had a backhand. I'm newish to booking with points and we just got a delta gold card. I can book my upcoming flight for 17k points through KLM, but it's delta operated and delta flight numbers. The same flight would be about 32k points directly through Delta. Would I still get the free checked bag from my Delta gold card? Should I just play it safe and **** it up and use the 32k points to guarantee I can take my bag?

I'm flying Etihad for the first time in June, and I booked Comfort Economy tickets. I'm curious about how much it would cost to upgrade to business, at least for the longest leg of my trip, and I can't figure out a clean way to do that! If I manage my trip, and go to "upgrades," the only option it gives me is to bid on upgrades. It looks like I won't know if my bid was accepted until less than a week before the trip. I just recently picked up disc golf and am really enjoying it, I just find all the names, flight numbers, plastics and all that kind of confusing for now. Currently I have 5 discs and I'm just a little lost on whether or not I'm missing out on something by having a 'hole' in my collection or I should just stick to the 5 for now and learn to throw them well before getting more discs. Update: partner apparently wasn't ticketed,, BA changed flight number a while ago and ticket didn't transfer over. All sorted now and still in club world, phew! Thanks everyone! Flying UAL97 today and managed to ask one of the flight crew about enabling channel 9 (or today's equivalent). He said he'd try. I got my hopes up when I saw the page but there was no audio. First world problem soon forgotten when you get to see these views. We haven't even made it as far as Vanuatu and New Caledonia yet which we're spectacular last time I flew this route.
