Online Flight Track

Several months ago I booked a non-refundable (not basic) economy ticket for a flight this summer using TravelBank funds expiring in December 2025. Now it says that I'm eligible to "cancel for a refund" because they changed the flight number(!). What will happen to the funds if I "cancel for a refund"? Will they go back to TB with a December 2025 expiration and immediately disappear? With a later expiration? Become a FFC (like they would if I just cancelled without this special offer)? Get sent to me as a check?

I left my iPad on a plane and submitted a lost report with all the particulars (brand, color, serial number, flight number, seat number, etc) on the Delta website. Has anybody had success with this system and actually had their item returned?

My flight from LHR (London) to IST (Istanbul) was delayed and I missed the connecting flight to BOM (Mumbai). A reason for the delay was never explained. I had to wait in Istanbul for 24 hours for the next available flight. I contacted Indigo Air citing UK261 for compensation and they replied stating the flight was operated by Turkish Air and to take it up with them, even though both flights had Indigo Air flight numbers. I believe Turkish Airlines is going to say take it up with Indigo Air. Should I go ahead and file the compliant with the UK Civil Aviation Authority or do you think Turkish Air may actually help?

I fly for an airline in the US and was wondering how often you spotters coordinate with pilots to get action shots? And what is the typical going rate? Say you're going to be at Lax anyways and you get some landing shots of me over the In and Out... What can I expect to pay? There should be a website for spotters to sell their photos to pilots, easily searchable by date and flight number. I don't have the time or inclination to develop it, but that'd be a great way to monetize the hobby. Edit - it'd be for my own personal use... Just something neat to have.

Hey community, I’m about to book flights to Europe and have the option to do cash or cash+points. Whats odd is cash allows all flights to be VA flight numbers, but cash+points doesn’t (ATH to DOH is QR flight number). In the grand scheme of things it probs doesn’t make a big difference, but based on that would I be best to book cash or cash + points? I’m also struggling to see what’s the best value (if any) so any feedback and direction would be amazing!

Following the links to the claim submission page for EU261, and for the date and booking reference number it doesn't show my flight number that was cancelled. Do I just select a different flight instead? I can't understand why they need to make everything so difficult. I meet all the requirements for full EU261 reimbursement, I'm just stumped as to how to request it when the flight number isn't an option. Thanks

What websites do people like for booking round trips? My son will be coming home to Detroit for the Pesach break (≈March 15 to ≈April 18), and I want the flight segments from & to Israel to be on El Al, which I'm confident won't cancel flights because of a few pesky rockets. There are no direct flights to Detroit. And he'd wants his layovers to be in the US. Perhaps a **** question: I was poking around FR24 and noticed (again) that some flight numbers do not indicate a single route X-Y but sometimes indicate X-Z or even A-B. I was wondering about the reason for this and if there is some sort of method to the madness. Most flight numbers appear to correspond to a single route (*e.g.*, AS21 is JFK-SEA), but others -- like AS457 in the image -- do not. As another example, in the past 90 days, AS705 has flipped back and forth between OAK-SEA and SFO-LAS. Just curious. Again, apologies if obvious.

Earlier I filled in the e-Travel Declaration for my trip to Cebu tomorrow (I’m from UK). I’m on flight EK338 from Dubai, which travels on to Clark after Cebu. Problem is as soon as I enter the flight number EK338 it selects Clark as the immigration point, over-writing my selection of Cebu, and no number of tries or trickery can get it corrected to Mactan Cebu. So, I’ll be trying to enter Cebu on Thursday with a QR code saying I’m entering Philippines via Clark. Is this likely to be a problem?
