Latest Community Discussions About Flight NumberI missed the first call14h agoHi, my husband joined the airforce and is currently in bootcamp. He called me the day he left saying he would call me in 72 hours to give me his information (flight number, address, and so on). I missed the **** call. I was asleep, i didn’t hear the ringer (even though it WAS ON) and it wasn’t at the time i expected it. I know the military runs on their own time but i tried so hard to be on top of this call. Thankfully my MIL got a call from him and got everything. I just can’t stop thinking about how he’s all alone, by himself, and i didn’t pick up the phone. I know if i was in his position, i would get it, but i can’t help that i feel like i failed. I know this is just the star... Friends Trivia: 121/36516h ago**What is Rachel’s flight number, departure time and location?** [Friends Trivia: 120/365](https://www.reddit.com/r/howyoudoin/s/tkxgNJmhzn) Have to share the happy stories too17h agoLast night (EDT) I posted about the "hiccup" with the trip I'm currently on the last leg for. I'd given up on bothering calling Delta for the 4th time but at the encouragement of a redditor, I did call. The representative I randomly got was an angel. He was able to get the itinerary reticketed with all DL flight numbers, needless stress over the checked bag allowance were \*poof\* gone! And here's where, IMO, he clearly went above and beyond - he noted our selected seats and put us back in them after the ticket was updated. (I had fully expected to have to go in and do that once he had everything finalized.) Of course I made sure to confirm his name once everythin... Flight in 8 hours23h agoHonestly, I’m just feeling hopeless right now. Since literally everyone who has ever posted here managed to not die in a plane crash, I guess I’ll be the first if I do. There's a low-key comfort in that. ANYWAYS flight number is A9652 Trying to identify this disc I found, it seems to be an old hybrid driver, but I would love to get the flight numbers if...1d agoWhat is the effective difference between a disc with turn & fade of 0,0 vs -1,1 vs -2,2?1d agoAlternate title: what are manufacturers trying to imply is different between those flight number pairs? Lets assume the flight numbers are reasonably accurate and not made up. Each set adds up to "stable", but what would the different pairs of numbers look like if you gave each pair the same throw? I'm assuming -2,2 would flex a little bit and 0,0 would be more laser straight on a flat throw? Would they behave differently on certain angles? If you can name discs that illustrate the differences(if there is any meaningful difference) that would be extra helpful. Still pretty new but if you put it terms of mako3 I can understand that at least lol JapanWeb - Airline Company Name1d agohi! my flight will have 2 connecting flights. flights will go like this Point A -> Connecting Flight 1 -> Connecting Flight 2 -> Point B Point A -> Connecting Flight 1 is OPERATED BY Airline 1 (main airline, also where i booked the flight) Connecting Flight 2 -> Point B is OPERATED BY Airline 2 (another airline, i did NOT book my flight here) Question is, which airline do I fill-out under the Airline Company Name in JapanWeb? Is it Airline 1 or Airline 2? Although the JapanWeb website has a guided sample on how to fill-up the Flight Number and Point of Embarkation, they don’t have a guide and a sample for the AIRLINE COMPANY NAME; thus, i’d apprec... Return flights to Budapest (face value + name change)1d agoDependent on Sales Window 2 ballot results, I may opt out of flying to Budapest. Like many others, tough decisions have to be made, and I think if unsuccessful I’d rather watch the final in London and not miss the (potential) trophy parade. Flight details (as pictured): Friday 29th — Luton 7:55pm → Budapest 11:30pm Monday 1st — Budapest 6:00am → Luton 7:45am Total cost was £280 (booked when we went 1-0 first leg), plus name change fee (around £60 per flight I believe), so \~£400 all up return. If interested please get in contact and I can update over the next few days as to how ballot unfolds. Also happy to chat on WhatsApp/messenger. AirChina booking advice1d agoHey first flight internationally here and I just want to make sure I'm not being silly. I've found flights from Melbourne to Frankfurt in October for $700-750 AUD one way with Airchina- incredibly cheap. https://preview.redd.it/2i5e3vje8uzg1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=8c704f3672da4e1e62dd8881120c80d4f7254892 Does this low price indicate that they are not filling flights, and may cancel them closer to the date leaving me to book at a higher cost at another airport? is there anything I should be aware of in my 'risk equation' when comparing these flights to other, more expensive flights? I am australian, have a german and australian ... Delta/Westjet snafu1d agoWe booked a one-way flight with Delta from our regional airport to Vancouver back in January. Then Westjet cancels a bunch of flights and Delta automatically re-booked us on a new itinerary. Cool, all should be fine, right? Earlier this week I went to double check the checked baggage allowance. It gave the "baggage embargo" message and said no checked bags for you. Decided to go ahead and call the Plat line and the very friendly agent had no idea why it was showing that but thought we'd still be fine to check bags when we arrive at the airport. After checking in today it's still insistent that we can't check any bags. I even went to Westjet's and plugged in ... Question about configuring flights2d agoWhen configuring the plane before starting the flight, you can input the tail number, the call sign and the flight number. I’ve already decided that I want to do the jet2 flight from Leeds Bradford (LBA) to Cyprus (LCA). I’ve based this off of a real flight. There is 2 options for the flight number - ls407 or exs407, which one. What are the trip number and callsign for this flight? I’m flying the a321lr. Thanks for any help. Not much but a big moment for me2d agoA little backstory: I am 43 years old, started playing in '97 as a forehand only player but dropped out of the sport for life and other things in 2003 until 2020. Recently I've got it in my head that I want to start competing. I recognize that I wasn't going to be that good cuz I never had a backhand. But I got laid off in February and suddenly I had a lot of time on my hands outside of job applications. With a bit of my severance I got a tech disc and started throwing and watching videos. When I first started out I couldn't throw faster than 52 mph and couldn't get past 275 in distance. Throwing nose down was wizardry to me. After a couple months of working... Question about filling out Visit Japan Web - flight with layover in Shanghai3d agoHello everyone, I have a question about Visit Japan Web. In the section "Register Planned Entry/Return" I'm a bit confused with the "Flight Number" and "Point of embarkation" bits. We have the following schedule: \- 1st flight from Milan to Shanghai (with flight code #1) \- Layover in Shanghai Pu Dong airport \- 2nd flight from Shanghai to Osaka (KIX) (with flight code #2) Which info should I enter in the Flight Number and Point of embarkation fields, given the info above? Flight code #1 or #2? And the city, will it be Milan or Shanghai? And for the departure, given that we will follow the schedule above but in reverse (so Osaka-Shanghai-Mila... Will I get a free checked bag?3d agoI'm newish to booking with points and we just got a delta gold card. I can book my upcoming flight for 17k points through KLM, but it's delta operated and delta flight numbers. The same flight would be about 32k points directly through Delta. Would I still get the free checked bag from my Delta gold card? Should I just play it safe and **** it up and use the 32k points to guarantee I can take my bag? Expected time to clear Narita’s customs and immigration3d agoDear redditors, I will be flying mid June to Tokyo Narita. We booked a taxi as I’m flying with my child’s and wanted to take a relax approach for the transfer to the hotel that is near Tokyo Station. I realize it’s over priced but I prefer to leave the commute responsibility to a taxi than me taking care of the three of us after 14+ hours of flight. Then I used some Booking discounts to book a taxi. The question is, they asked for the flight number to check how we will be doing and wait 45 minutes after landing. Is this time enough? I already asked what will happen if we took more time, and they will leave us stranded. And although, Visit Japan QR is already in our possession, ... Using Free AI to Navigate Flight Stopovers and Avoid Hidden Costs3d agoIt's happened to everyone: making unnecessary stops and extending the trip... and paying monstrous extra flight fees too! Use these two prompts to design complex routes and avoid getting hit with extra charges at checkout. **Prompt 1: Smart Routes & Layovers** *You are a creative route planner. Design 3 to 5 alternative itineraries from \[departure city\] to \[arrival city\] that use exactly 1 or 2 layovers. The total price for each option must be under $\[amount\]. Prefer layovers under \[number of hours\] hours and airports known for low connection costs. For every option, provide a clear breakdown of any extra transit fees you identify (e.g., visa requirements, airport ta...
