I think I put my evri parcel inside the royal mail bag at post office

As title says, after the post office worker scanned my parcel and gave me my receipt, I believe he said to put the parcel next to the white bag, but I put it inside the bag, I must have misheard him.
Will royal mail return the parcel back to the office?
I'm not 100% sure if I messed up but they still haven't collected the item so I'm guessing I did, does royal mail use white large bags?
Three weeks ago it finally happened and I was forced into using Simple Delivery. I thought ok, let's do give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a go.
I sold two things (over 120 this year) and packaged them up, with Ebay choosing Evri for one and Royal Mail for the other.
Can you guess what happened? The Evri parcel is now lost and three weeks later still stuck under "dropped off at parcel shop" status.
It now looks like after over 300 sales and a decade of positive reviews I may get my first negative, all thanks to Simple Delivery and forcing Evri on me. Merry Christmas Ebay ffs!

Evri gets demonised by media and politicians, just because it's the new kid on the block, and not a storied, bloated mega-corp like Royal Mail. But let's use this Christmas moment to be grateful for the amazing hard work Evri drivers do every day, bringing us our parcels, rain or shine. They are true community champions and a few bad apples shouldn't distract from the millions of parcels they deliver successfully and always with a smile, every day. Happy Christmas!
I ordered something on vinted last friday and used Evri as the shipping provider, they collected my parcel on monday but the tracking hasn't updated since. I understand it is a busy period for them with it being Christmas and all, will it be sent after Christmas instead?
I need to send an item back to a seller as was advertised as very good but has several stains on it.
They provided me an Evri label to send it back to them, with a deadline of 26th December.
So I took it to a parcelshop today at 11.30am (24th December) only to be told they weren't accepting any more parcels as they had their last collection already.
I'm now stuck, as due to other commitments I couldn't go and try a different shop. And it course, the parcel shops will be shut on 25th and 26th December, so looks like I'll miss the deadline for posting back through no fault of my own.

i’ve used evri for years with no problems (surprisingly) and great experiences, but this parcel has seemingly disappeared and claire the robot is now saying they can’t find it at the depot 😭 obviously not if it never even got given to them …

for context this buyer made the offer of £6.50 and then immediately bought the item before i had time to to look at the offer. there was no communication i just posted it within 24 hours i normally would and they have left it at the parcel stop for over 2 weeks. as it has been sent through evri i have no idea if they picked it up or not and is plain and simply ignoring me however iv had no email about it getting sent back to me either like you normally get a warning with inpost so im absolutely baffled. ik its not a lot but as a uni student it goes a long way and its just the principle of having to deal with having to send it and things. just so your aware its ...

I am actually shocked that they are still operating. I am waiting for a parcel to arrive since yesterday and as everyone knows, impossible to get in touch with a human. Why do companies, especially big ones like JD, and i think even flannels use them sometimes, use evri? Do they not get affected by the amount of parcels these people manage to lose? If i have 5 parcels delivered by evri, 4 of them never come.
Is there no law about customer service in this country? Are we not able to complain somewhere and close this ****** company?

So I tried getting information on a parcel that hasn't moved since 4/12/25 and to no ones surprise EVRI's "complaints" process was a mess of bots and non answers. Really telling when a package can come from china and be "lost" in an EVRI warehouse.
Had enough of not being able to escalate so decided to contact Ofcom and complain that EVRI requires a functional complaints policy under Ofcom rules. To which Ofcom seemed very receptive.
I would encourage people to do the same as Ofcom might potentially have the teeth to get into EVRI

So it's near to Christmas here on earth and I ordered some presents that were coming from Risa with Hermes or is it Evri since they have been acquired by the Ferengi, and yet I haven't seen any deliveries here on earth. When I look at the tracking, it states the item is in transit and has been like that for quite some time. Hi all, so I purchased a p1s combo on the 24th November and after a months waiting I still haven’t got the printer. It took around a week for the parcel to be shipped by the courier and then no update from when it was shipped I contacted Evri who are completely useless and turns out they had managed to loose a £524 package that weighed about 15kg. Still confuses me.
