Just wondering has anyone successfully got a refund, either for the value of the item that Evri lost, or the delivery cost you paid for the item? (Ideally both!)
Backstory;
- An Evri courier literally marked my parcel as "delivered", whilst it was inside their own warehouse
- How do I know this? The GPS map on the email I got from them saying it's delivered, is literally showing their warehouse (confirmed when I check the coordinates on Gmaps)
- Also, the delivery photo is the courier handing the parcel to another staff member inside the building; they didn't even attempt to take it in front of a doorway or anything!
I've had a number of issues with bad deliveries ...
This was the first day they attempted to deliver it, rescheduled it twice themselves then said they’re unable to deliver and returning to the retailer?? What??? Has this happened to anyone else
That’s the post. They didn’t even try. This is also the 5th parcel in a row that has never made it to me… I’ve spent over £150 and awaiting refunds, only problem with this parcel is that they tell me to contact the courier who tells me to contact sender who then tells me to contact the courier and so on. **** you evri u useless delivery service!!!!!
First, I'm glad this community exists.
I don't know how EVRi can even call themselves a delivery company when all you face is issue after issue.
I ordered a chair from Zara Home and a table from La Redoute — two separate companies, and having never really had any issues with EVRi before, I thought everything was going to be fine.
One week later, both deliveries are 'delayed', with not much information from EVRi and nothing from Zara or La Redoute (both terrible customer service).

Wanted to share with you some very bizzare stuff happening on vinted. Lately some sellers have been accepting offers and some of them message back saying they accept only if I chose Evri as a courier.
Ive bought 2 of those suspicious posts (arround 80£ each) just to check what is going on (and hoping it ends up well) , and for both Evri reports:
\- Receiving the parcel
\- On its way
\- Stuck for 5 days in the same status
\- I contact customer service and they confirm they are going to search for it since it might be lost.
There must be some kind of new bug or way for scammers to have Evri mark the parcel as "received" so they can receive their money for a parcel t...
I diverted my parcel to a locker on 21/11. Turns out there is actually no Evri locker at the location. The drivers have taken it out for delivery 4 times unsuccessfully and now it is just sitting at the depot. I can't undo the locker request now as Evri don't allow that.
I have used the online chat and phoned them several times and the bots tell me it will be escalated. I did get an email on Tuesday from customer services, saying she would call me if it hadn't arrived by the next day. I haven't heard anything since. Is there anything else I can try or is my parcel stuck for good :(
does anyone know if its normal for a package to be stuck on “we’ve collected it” (not updating that it’s at a hub/depot) for 3+ days? I’ve opened like three enquirys with the chatbot but ofc its absolutely useless (keeps saying theyll get back to me in 24h or less lol it has been 3 days 😭) normally ive noticed once they collect things they update at a depot within a few hours/the next day at the latest
im really worried my package is lost :( can anyone either give me some hope that it might just be a delay in scanning or alternatively know how i can speak to a human </3 (long shot i know)

Hi guys, I don't live in the UK and decided to deliver it to my friends business where he could have shipped it to me.
My friend also runs a import export business so he also has a warehouse.
The parcel was delivered a week back but my friend informed me yesterday that no parcel came since he was also out of town there was no one to confirm if the parcel arrived and when he came back yesterday he told me that he did not receive it.
On sending him the proof of delivery which was only a gro location he said that it was delivered somewhere 10 15 miles away from his place.

Question on holding letters and parcels while on holiday

Is there a way for me to get Royal Mail and parcel force to hold any letters/parcels while I’m on holiday? Likewise anyone know if similar is possible for evri, yodel etc (appreciate this is not regarding Royal Mail, but looking for help). Thanks.
Royal mail frequently deliver my families cards and letters up to two weeks late around holiday times.
I recently had medication arriving via Royal Mail which required a signature, they just left it hanging out of my letter box without any signature or even an attempt to knock the door.
I was recently waiting on an order that I could see the seller had purchased 48 hours priority service on.
Royal Mail text me 2 or 3 days in a row to say "unable to deliver, nobody is home". Absolute lies every day.. so it eventually arrived several days late.

I was home and awake Thursday evening when this happened. They did not ring or knock, or try to put it through the post slot (it would have fit), but simply dumped it into the neighbour’s garden (next to the bin) without a word.
Last night, I found around 10/15 parcels dumped in front of my doorstep by an Evri driver. None of them addressed to me, but to businesses and individuals nearby.
I spent over an hour redelivering them to the correct recipients.
I’m still in possession of one that I couldn’t redeliver.
What would be the most effective way to report that to Evri without having to deal with the ****** chatbot.
I am just about getting ready to rip my hair out.
My parcel was due to come, and EVRI notified it was ‘damaged beyond repair in transit’ and that I would have to contact the seller. I also had a notification to say they had disposed of the parcel.
I contacted SHEIN customer service thinking they would just send out a new parcel, they said they needed 3-5 days to investigate.
3-5 days later and I have messaged them again and they have come back with the same screenshot I sent them to say your package is damaged beyond repair.
I thought great they will send a new one. No. Now they are saying they need 3-5 days to try and locate the parcel and investigate the condition it is in befor...

My guess is depot marked it as delivered. And they’re expecting me to take the brunt of this from my customers who I otherwise have a good relationship with. Dropped my 4.8 to 4.1. Even started getting my Christmas cards with £10 in them. That’s now gone. Most of it all idk how I’m gonna face my customers today??? Thanks ******* evri. I’m walking out. Stick my very huge 2 rounds up wherever you can find space in the overflowing backlog. This comes after they cut pay for 56 parcels the following month after it was delivered
UPDATE: parcel marked as “unable to be delivered” last saturday.

for context: £175 worth of christmas gifts that my mum ordered followed by two other parcels were marked as “unable to be delivered” last saturday with zero updates since. on hassling evri about it they said the high value parcel was “lost” so we assumed some scummy prick stole it and sold the contents because the box would have been fairly big.
well. a parcel for me came on tuesday, but no news on the other two so we started the process of attempting to get a refund from sephora because we assumed there’s no way that package would come intact or at all.
fast forward to yesterday and the tracking says “it’ll come between 5:30 and 6” so we think great, it’s finally happen...

What’s the best thing to do tax-wise, is it worth getting an accountant to help or any websites/resources that can anyone recommends?
I’m not currently signed up as self employed but I’ll do it over the next few days - I’m going to be doing it for 5-6 weeks (possibly ongoing after that period) and I want to ensure I pay the right amount of tax/national insurance
