In January 2019, Hermes confirmed that the peak period of 2018 was its busiest to date. During December 2018, the company processed 39.5 million parcels. The busiest day of the year fell on 30 November, when Hermes processed 1.9 million parcels, exceeding 2017's total of 1.6 million items handled in a single day. In February 2019, it was announced that the company would offer paid holiday and guaranteed wage rates. In March 2022 the group has announced changes to the brand and a new trading name, Evri.

On the 22nd is said Evri has it and it's being processed. More than a week later it said the same. I contacted both Evri and the seller. Evri wasn't much good, said it's likely been misplaced and will contact me in 2 days. The company however kindly sent me out a new item (heavy and expensive so my worries are high) even though there next shopping date isn't until January. Very kind of them and they contacted evri themselves to just return the parcel is they find it. Which I believe they did in days. I don't understand how they found it so quick to return ... You have to love them.Btw,how do I speak with an agent by phone?53m agoI got a notification near midnight that my parcel was delivered. At 23:34 tracker says. Proof of delivery is just a black picture. I was at home and nobody came at that time. As the automated chatbot is beyond useless,how do I contact a person to deal with this joke? I can't even claim the INR until tomorrow for some weird reason. Royal Mail delay Malazan?1h agoHi, for the last two days I have been emailed to expect Malazan to arrive today. Royal Mail have come both days delivering other packages, but have not brought Malazan despite it being said it would deliver today, and yesterday. I have just lost another package in the post last week from Evri, so I am feeling a bit worried about post at the moment. Is this a normal delay? Is it just the Christmas post? I’ve never had this before, where they have only come with some of the packages “due to be delivered today”, and not all of them. With how expensive Malazan is, and how excited I’ve been for this pre order, I’m very worried about it. Especially when they’re in such obvious Broken B... It was an electronic bit of kit and was handled with care. Not just tossed in the garden which I have had an amazon delivery person do before (mixed bag) I was nervous when i saw Evri was going to deliver because of experiences I had seen on this sub. Is delivery to a parcelshop safer after Evri 'loses' 3 parcels..3h agoI ordered 2 presents for Christmas (a perfume order and a hairdryer from Shark) in November, which fell into Evri's hands. The same process happened with both: Evri has it, followed by a notice of a 'delay' to pass onto the courier, then confirmed "lost in the network." After much back and forth with Claire, its AI chatbot. Anyway, for the perfume order, the retailer re-sent the package with Royal Mail. I received it with no issues 2 days later. For Shark, however, I've been banging my head against a brick wall. After the first one was deemed 'lost', the company sent me another one out... Again with Evri. The second parcel went through the exact... Evri delivery driver steals parcel3h agoThis Evri delivery driver ‘delivers’ a package to my address, she takes a photo as proof of delivery and then just walks away with the parcel in her hand. A blatant theft. What’s more, it’s not addressed to me. A few hours after this a neighbour knocks to ask if I have his parcel. The thief attempted to frame me for the theft. Lucky I had her in video. My Vinted parcel must be made of rubber because it keeps bouncing from out for delivery to back at the Evri sorting faci...4h agoRead up on your consumer rights people6h agoIf Evri leave your parcel half a mile down the road and it’s missing, you don’t contact Evri you contact whoever you bought the parcel from. Your contract is not with Evri, it is with the retailer and the retailer must either refund or replace the lost parcel. Don’t let the retailer push for you to contact Evri, it is on them. Don’t bother engaging with Evri, or DPD, or Royal Mail or whoever sends it. Go to the retailer. Don’t immediately file a charge back like I’ve seen some people saying, it’s a very simple process of contacting the retailer. Only do a chargeback of retailer refuses a refund. EVRI don’t seem to be working.12h agoAnyone else not receiving parcels or orders who use EVRI as courier? Everything just seems to get to the depot & then doesn’t move from there. They send me a email stating they have left it with a neighbour, and a picture of lobby in a block of flats that I don't live in. Third parcel lost like that so far. If I knew a seller was using Evri I would buy elsewhere. Shipping with Royal Mail - is there really no way to print your own label?15h agoMy small tesco recently just parted ways with Evri and now the only nearest courier near me is RoyalMail The queues at the post office can take quite long and sometimes I do get a few sales in a day– having to go back and forth between the digital codes kinda worries me as it’s possible I might accidentally switch the codes for each parcel 🫠 Official questions…16h ago'Dumped' Evri parcel deliveries prompt responses by MPs17h agoParcel Got Stolen18h agoEvri delivered my parcel to the wrong house.& flat, took a picture of my parcel being handed to a man (not me or anyone I know), and marked it as delivered to my address. Went to try and get my parcel back but no one answered the door. Left a note which was ignored. Complained to Evri and the company, now we wait :D Flat 2 I hope you like my Cat Oven Mitts! I bought some dolls from Amazon for Black Friday/Cyber Monday for Christmas, so it is a larger package if that gives any extra insight. I had no idea that Amazon would use Evri (all items were bought direct from Amazon, but I don't have Prime) but a... Local Evri person has such a massive backlog they're just going to park up somewhere and have told people to go pic...21h agoThey've posted in the three local village Facebook groups that they'll just fill their car with as many parcels as possible, will separate them out by village, and be parked outside [local landmark] early doors one day, and later afternoon/evening the next day. Will hand over the parcel if you bring ID. I don't think it's their fault, they're one person trying to cover multiple rural villages, and there's nobody else to do the deliveries on their day off. So they now have a huge backlog and people are complaining like **** that they haven't had their parcels. I feel sorry for them really, and I get that they're doing what they can to make it right fo... Company is resending missing parcel... with Evri again22h agoMost likely it still never shows considering the last set never even had delivery attempted, presumably because the parcel was too big. Part of me thinks I'll end up with both sets showing up together. The idea of just the one showing up seems almost impossible to me because it's too close to competent.
