Letter before action

I've recently had issues with three items I've sold through vinted where the buyer has ended up refunded and I have been made out of pocket. I want to know whether there's any point sending a letter before action after having no luck with their customer service. Any advice would be appreciated! The first two items were both a pair of trainers inside grey plastic mailer bags, dropped off at the same time to an evri drop off point along with a few other parcels. The parcels all arrived with their buyers but in both cases of the trainers, the items actually received were things I have never seen before. I suspect that they were tampered with at some point along the way, and swap...

I placed the order over a week ago. Seller says he’s shipped but the courier is still indicating that they haven’t received the parcel, which suggests the label has been created but the seller hasn’t actually taken the parcel to the shipping point. They are suggesting that they have and that for some reason there is an error that he is trying to sort out between Evri and Depop. I’ve been on Depop for 10 ish years at this point and I have never seen this issue. Am I being scammed? Can I just cancel and get a refund or am I chalked? Screenshots attached. I should add that the seller has 5\* average (spanning 2 reviews in 1 year).

Royal Mail large letter

Had someone buy a pair of trousers yesterday and when I went to generate shipping label (which wouldn’t work til this morning) it said the buyer has chosen a shipping method you have disabled (Large Letter) and that I can cancel if I want. My only two enabled options are Evri and Royal Mail and most of my parcels are small, which I’ve never had a problem with at the shop - but the specific dimensions of this option are making me worry that it will cause a problem at the shop? I think it’s unlikely to go in the postbox, though I haven’t tried.

So I purchased a bundle which was shipped buz evri parcelshop to my local post office - who told me they would not release the item as the name on the label did not match my ID. EVRI'S website statss you need an ID or the number for the parcel and I've never had this issue before. However the bloke at the post office hold me that's their policy. I might try again when there's another person there. I've informed the seller and I'm happy for them to potentially keep the money as this is not their fault, but it's frustrating for the past pfgice to refuse to honour evri's terms for pickup. Any advice welcome.

I'm not a UK citizen, just a somewhat frequent visitor, and I don't think I had ever heard of Evri before. I'm just about to visit London again and I thought to combine it with some shopping from Ebay, conveniently choosing the Click and Collect option for a mini market near my place of accomodation. Now I got a notification of delivery for my parcel... to a "neighbour". The courier left the parcel to a residential place, less than 20m away from the mini market that's open all day long. Dropping off multiple small parcels at Evri lockers

I sell jewellery on Vinted and as a result I end up with tons of small padded envelopes to drop off at the lockers. I’ve been scanning each one to open the compartment, but because it’s just a letter it is opening the same letter compartment every time and I can hear the envelopes just falling on top of each other. Do I need to scan each envelope and go through the whole process every time, or can I just scan one and drop them all in at the same time? I’m sending 10+ each time so it’s a ballache but I don’t want to screw something up on the courier’s end if something in their collection is based on how many parcels have been scanned (eg estimated space/weight, etc).

Only UPS has this ridiculous system of having to create an account and register your address in order to be able to control your delivery. Oh and make sure you use the exact same address format everywhere, because if you even make one slight mistake, the parcel does not show up on your account and there's no option to reschedule. Whereas with Royal Mail, Evri, DPD etc I can literally go to the tracking page, enter the postcode that it's being delivered to and make changes to the delivery. I have moved house and I cannot register my new address as apparently UPS My Choice is not available! And guess what? My previous address, where I did register with UPS My Choice is also not ava...

I ordered some stuff from TEMU. It managed to get from China to uk with no issues within a few days- EVRI get it and boom - issues It was out for delivery on the 6th May- then I got the dreaded ‘unable to deliver ‘ message (I was home btw) and now the process going backwards and it’s back at the senders depot . How does that happen when the sender is TEMU?! And will I see my parcel :(

How did buyer manage to select Royal Mail shipping when I don't have that option selected?

As the title says, I checked my settings and I do not have either of the Royal Mail options selected as delivery options, so how has the buyer selected it as their delivery option? This is really annoying for me because I don't have a printer at home, so I have to ask family if I need something printed. Shipping is already harder for me because I have a 2 month old baby. I don't want to cancel and get a negative review, so I'll find a way to print the label, but it's so annoying.

Ive just sold a small thing on vinted. I have evri and inpost as my only drop of points and so have only them selected. This buyer has somehow choosen royal mail. But i have to print of the label and when i searched for royal mail drop offs near me it just highlighted all my postboxes. So im confused do i literally print this prepaid label off put it on the parcel and then put it in a post box ? Because that doesnt sound right , with tracking and all that. Am i just being ****? I cant find anything to say as such what to do

see my previous post on this sub for history but this is the current updated tracking. still not delivery attempts made, i’ve been in all day since thursday and we have a ring doorbell so can check footage. it’s a shipment from a US company so was shipped with passport global but then passed over to Evri once it got to the UK and on the passport global tracking it’s been saying that the courier doesn’t have the package for the last few days. someone commented on my other post saying that often if tracking isn’t updated till the next day it means the driver didn’t sign out before clocking off and the parcel gets lost/mixed up in the system and not picked up the following day. 4 da...

My parcel was sent around a week ago (going to a locker), and has been to a lot of sort facilities and been in transit multiple times. The estimated delivery date was between 6-8 may (evri). Is this normal? I may be overreacting though 😅😅

item lost, depop refunded buyer

sold an item on depop 2 months ago. depop & evri tracking showed the parcel as delivered to the buyer, but the buyer contacted me saying they never received it and couldn’t track it. today i got an email from depop support saying the item was returned back to me, and they refunded the buyer from my depop account. they attached “proof of delivery” to me, and even though the location is correct there is no sign of my parcel in the photo and i never received my item back. now i have neither the item nor the money. support keeps telling me to resolve it with evri & evri support seems to be completely useless. has anyone dealt with something like this before?

Parcel not at Evri collection point?

I had notification that an item I ordered had been dropped off at my local Evri point which is a newsagents, picked up many parcels before with no issues. However this time they were unable to find my parcel, I saw them go through the delivery sack and check everything they had and it was not there. They said they think the Evri driver has accidentally taken it back with them and for me to wait until Monday when their next pickup/drop off takes place and it should be there. Fingers crossed it’s there on Monday, but what happens if it’s not? I’ve got the notification it’s there waiting for pickup but what happens if it’s suddenly missing or lost?
