Hey all, I placed an order with ECMS earlier this month and its currently with UniUni, "In Transit to Next Facility" within my city. Im worried because I keep seeing bad reviews of UniUni and failed deliveries. I live within a gated community and im scared they wont deliver it. I was wondering if theres any way to prevent this, maybe by updating the delivery instructions somehow? So I took my truck in yesterday for 3 recalls. The L87 loss of propulsion, ECM update and Serial Data Gateway Module. It passed the engine inspection. The ECM update is to indicate it has been inspected so if it goes back in, thay have a reference point. The Gateway module update is to address the infotainment system staying on after the truck is turned off. The service advisor said I will get a letter in the next few weeks outlining the extended warranty on the engine. 10 year or 150,000k mile powertrain warranty from the delivery date. I’ve been proxy shipping through Tenso for a few years now. I’ve never had any issues. Ever since the U.S. implemented tariffs, the only shipping option Tenso has offered me for consolidated packages has been ECMS. I’ve recently shipped my first package through them and apparently it did not clear customs at LAX (I live in NY, and normally my packages get shipped to JFK and go through customs there.) It is my first time using buyee and I just got a notice that I will have to pay for shipping as the item already reached the warehouse. I don’t have a problem with paying, I was mostly just curious cause I assumed the shipping was factored into the payment? But it’s not an issue. I feel more comfortable asking. Just to get a for sure answer. Once you pay that, it will be shipped to you? And because I am in the US, and most of the items are under 40 expect for one, I am just wanting to cover all bases. And would ECMS or buyee air delivery be better?
