I have a delivery from the UK and it’s been held by Slovak customs. SPS sent me an email proposing to deal with it for 40€, which is 200% of the price I paid for this package. Ridiculous! Had a crank no start on Tuesday requiring a tow to the dealership on Tuesday. It has done an extended crank once before where it barely wanted to run initially with no CEL and then never did that again. This time is would only crank. Heard back today that they are ordering an engine harness and an ECM. ECM is back ordered with no delivery ETA. They are thinking the short in the engine harness took out the ECM. They put me in a Legacy loaner vehicle but I’m just hoping this car isn’t a lemon.

I used to believe that eCMS was the most cost-effective way to ship to the US until the tariffs thing “increased” which effectively eliminated it as the preferred option. However, surface mail has recently regained my option from now on😭 no rush I can wait

I just shipped something out with ecms and usually it's been uniuni and FedEx but it's my first time seeing this courier. What are your thoughts and experience with them. Update: It did come safely thankfully and it was an extremely high value item so I was really happy it came in safe and sound. It seems the gig delivery drivers in my area are pretty good especially considering I live in a gated community. The thing that made me nervous was that it was taking 2ish days to process it to the speedx facility but after that it was delivered the same day. In total from when the shipping label was created it took 10 days which might actually be faster than UniUni for my area.

The ecm still is trying to force regen. As long as i interrupted the reign, the truck operated fine. Unfortunately, it completed the regen process while i was asleep on a cold night. Now the ecm knows there is a problem and is limiting the truck to 5mph. For a moment it reset so i could drive until i set the park brakes again. However the trailer i have park brakes were not at all adjusted and i had to get it repaired. Thus wasting the glitch to let me drive again above 5mph. Im not sure why it did the rest and allows the truck to drive above 5mph, but im hoping it does it again so I can take advantage of it. I know this probably gets asked a lot but I want to know what would be best for my case. I bought a $90 collectible and I want to ensure it arrives reliably. I'm not too worried about how long, just that it doesn't get lost in mail. I know ECMS is famous for its long wait and sometimes it has some unreliability, but on the other hand it's only $16 shipping. **FedEx DDP** is no more, due to "ongoing system maintenance". That lasted less than 2 weeks (2/18/26 - 3/1/26). I wonder what happened. No more FedEx all now. On a positive note, **ECMS DDP** is now available, starting from today, 3/1/26. Also, the fixed "Export Clearance Fee" aka broker fee is 216 yen ($1.40)! vs 2,400 yen ($15) for FedEx. Plus no more FedEx 417 yen ($2.69) MPF fee, and the 150 yen ($1) residential delivery surcharge.
