Latest Community Discussions About CDLDaily Driver + Work Truck Purchase Decision5h agoHello everyone, Im a 20M that owns my own landscaping company who's also in full time schooling for a BComm. I do landscaping from April-Oct and school from Sept-April. Last season we used my partners grandpas truck (09' ram 1500 HEMI) and it worked solid, but I am now looking at my own truck. Our revenue is projected to be 250k and my share would be \~70-80k profit. We scaled and grew this business a lot and I want to reward myself. At the same time im not sure if I will be doing this (landscaping) in 2-3 years. I was looking at a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited HEMI with \~139,000 kms (86371 miles) for \~43,695 CAD (31,330.41 USD). I think this is a solid deal, the truck ticks al... If you don’t remember all the all outs and walking recoveries you will definitely remember all the push-ups you had to do! You do have a tread card that has a tread for distance at the end but our coach timed everything so we never got to do it. **Tread Block - 22.5 minutes** * Goal: increase your all out intensity each part * Buy-in: * 2 min push (PW @ 5%+) * 30 sec base * Part 1: * 1 min AO (PW @ 10%+) * 1 min WR * 1 min AO (PW @ 10%+) * 1 min WR * 1 min AO (PW @ 10%+) * 1 min WR * Part 2: * 45 sec AO (PW @ 10%+) *... Day 1- 1N05 to Aspen Grove Trailhead. Day 2- South Fork to Poopout Hill/ East Flats5h agoWanted to take advantage of the long weekend and spend a couple days hiking so I planned two small hikes and, turns out, some car camping. **TL;DR** **1N02 still closed… They could fix the beginning easily enough. The rest is fine until 1N05** **1N05 is a mess at the beginning. Would not be surprised if it did not open again to vehicles.** **Trail to Aspen Grove Trailhead easily passable after a few large washouts at the beginning** **South Fork Trail in great shape (I only went to Poopout Hill).** **Took the spur trail down to the fire road and walked back to the junction and back to the trailhead.** **Car camped at East Flats. Neat place.** Details for those interested... Hidden Guardians: Chapter 135h agoBrian had another attempt at a call the next morning and this time it was also unsuccessful. He began to worry about Cassie and Ethan, as well as the bigger guy, whose name was escaping him in that moment. That had been happening since his meeting with the Warden. Little snippets of information had just seemingly fallen from his brain and into the void. He rubbed over his cheek, the stubble there scraping against his palm. He hoped his supplied would arrive soon, because if not, shaving without a trimmer was going to be an issue. His hair was becoming a nuisance in its own way. It was one of the downsides to being of the species he was. Felines had a similar issue, their hair growing much... Jane was already dressed and ready. I took a deep breath of fresh, pine-filled air, lacking the distinct foul scent of the city. I half-expected to smell bacon drifting down the hallway, but Doug was struggling to separate the bacon while his other hand was occupied opening a can of beer. Considering we all slept ... Bear Creek Road5h agoMy name is Cody Hartman, and three years ago I learned how quickly a road can stop being a road. I was twenty-nine then, a paramedic out of Columbus, working night shifts on a county medic unit that spent half its life parked outside apartment complexes and the other half weaving through rain with the siren on. I was used to chaos in a controlled environment. Cardiac arrests. Overdoses. Wrecks where everything smelled like coolant and blood and deployed airbags. I knew how to function when things went wrong because, usually, there were rules. A location. A dispatch record. A hospital ten minutes away. A police report. Something official that said this happened here, at this time, to these p... Bear Creek Road5h agoMy name is Cody Hartman, and three years ago I learned how quickly a road can stop being a road. [MODPOST] The Third Harvest: Kabul5h agoChapter One: The Monitoring Station === Ahmad went about his normal routine near the border with China in the Wakhan Corridor. The reinforced weather station on the Chinese side hummed like usual. But inside the station the day was anything but usual. “We have a spike on the 6.2 gigahertz band.” Wei Bing, an analyst with the Second Bureau of the Ministry of State Security said to his commanding officer. “It’s not a standard spike; the burst is too localized. Minimal power.” His CO, a career officer named Zhi Zhang, leaned over the screen. For months now following the Xinjiang attack the MSS have been executing a massive packet sniffing operation across Afghanistan looking for th... Back in the Void, Loki held it together; threads of magic stretched across Deadpool’s mind, linking him to battles across distant worlds, siphoning Yggdrasil’s Essence from conflict, from myth, from violence itself. Beyond it, everything else was still. Time did not move. Held in suspension were Absolute Spider-Man, Wasp, and Thor, frozen alongside a silent observer: the Void Winter, using The Watcher as his vessel. Untouched…until something moved through him. It did not enter the spell, but pierced the silence which came from it. The Watcher’s stillness fractured as his eyes ignited; not with awareness, but with something colder, somethi... Not the best timing, but you take these when they're offered...5h agoI'm just finishing up 3 SUBs so far this year (BILT Palladium, Strata Elite, AA Globe) and was looking forward to just cruising with my current setup...but along came the coveted 75k BBP offer. I let it sit for the past several days because P2 is keen to uh...not hear about more sign-up bonuses...but decided it was too good to pass up. No hard pull, no new revolver, no annual fee...how could I say no? Also, this is my first time seeing the new spend tracker. Nifty. For context: I've had various Amex biz cards for the last 3 years and cancelled my first BBP about 2 years ago. This offer popped up under my Biz Plat, but I also hold the Bonvoy Biz, SkyMiles Platinum Biz, and SkyMil... Anyone experienced a similar occurrence?5h agoRan last weekend, 10 miles. Knee felt as if it was locking up on me. Was running slower pace with a friend so I was able to fight through. Couple days later the pain felt fine but I wanted to tie it a rest as I had a 17 mile run planned for yesterday in my marathon block. Yesterday I ran, about 5 miles in the knee pain came back. Was running with a different friend, faster pace than last week. Fought through it but could never open up my stride for a faster pace , my knee wouldn’t allow me and the pain on the inside of my knee said no. This morning I woke up with swelling above the knee (felt almost liquid like) and have had trouble applying weight when taking stairs and doing other ...
