I’m in Hong Kong and have a Taobao order stuck on “delivery failed because they couldn’t reach me by phone” and then “re-delivery” for several days with no real update. I never received any call/SMS/WhatsApp, and Taobao support only gives very generic “we’ve reported to specialist/local logistics, please wait” replies. \*\*Questions:\*\* 1. Does the expected delivery date refer to cainiao shipping it and my country’s postal service receiving it or the package being delivered to me and fully arriving? I want to know if I should expect the delivery to take longer than taobao’s expected date, which I feel is more likely because it is christmas time. I’m a bit anxious because i will not be home for a few days at the start of January and might end up needing someone to pick up the package for me and because it’s my first time ordering from taobao.

I checked all the local carrier with both my tracking & local mile tracking # within the past few days and still found nothing. Checked Yanwen again and noticed additional info on desktop for Cainiao distributor that I completely missed on mobile. Placed my last mile tracking # in that specific link provided in the box.
