My package was apparently delivered by AliExpress, but nothing came, it’s in a town 30 minutes away, the photos showing proof of it are just black. What should I do? I already contacted Cainiao so I’m waiting on that.

I ordered a package from AliExpress a couple of weeks ago that shipped through Cainiao and was given to UniUni for last mile delivery, and it went out for delivery this morning around 8am. I haven’t had any experiences with this company before so I’ve been looking stuff up about them but all that I can find are horrible negative experiences with them, and I’m starting to get concerned that I won’t receive my package. Have any of you had any good or even decent experiences with this company?

Why does taobao even use cainiao??? I ordered a pair of shoes that were stuck at the warehouse since 8 feb (on the app it says **发展点**). One day after it said it was supposed to be delivered the next day but after that the status changed and it never showed a new delivery date. Initially i thought it was the chinese new year delay, though chinese new year is only on 17 feb. Hey everyone happy new year. I’d like to inquire about the two images. From my understanding once the order reached HK it got a new tracking number, in which in the second image it doesn’t pop up in any of the tracking websites. Although it says it’s signed I don’t have any clue about it until now and I’m not sure did someone actually pick it up? Is that what signed means. Hello everyone. I purchased a set of custom keycaps from Etsy and it's coming from China. The courier service is called Cainiao and I was given a link to track my package. Since yesterday, the 'Status' says: "Delivery attempt unsuccessful.Delivery address is incorrect". But there is also a 'Carrier Note' which says "Delay in transit". I checked on the South African Post Office website using the tracking number and it says: "No tracking record found". So I don't think its coming through the post. I've had close to 30 deliveries over the past couple years, mostly Choice items transported by Cainiao, with the last mile served by a variety of carriers, including CainiaoUP, their own attempt at such a service. Every one that I've caught, in person or on camera (not including those who carried wi-fi jammers and have evaded capture), has been a random person in street clothes making the delivery from a personal vehicle. First time ko ma experience na Cainiao ang gamit na courier for my parcel and so far, sobrang frustrating lang niya. I also feel like lazada is declining. I placed an order morning of feb 5. Everything was fine and it was packed by the seller the a few hrs later then the status changed to “Ready to Ship”. Typically my international order takes about a week to get delivered and that’s fine. This is the first time that the final courier for my package delivery has been Cainiao, otherwise it's always been Swiss Post (or once DPD). I just got a notification that the package couldn't be delivered and that I can pick it up at a designated pick up point, but they didn't actually tell me where, and I can't find a way to contact them via email or anything, only Weibo and Douyin (I have neither of those). Does anyone know how else to contact them? Or should I contact AliExpress? Update: Package was found by my upstairs neighbour in a bush by our apartment building, none of us knows what happened here but I'm glad to have received my stuff 😭
