I’ve seen this thing happening before to someone else on Reddit, and now it happened to me. Ordered something off Vinted 24/03, it was in transit for a few days and then it apparently got added to a pallet / group (which is the black hole of all parcels) and I’ve never received any info about it since. I’ve emailed Pro Carrier a few times and they told me it’s a Vinted related problem, even though they’re the ones handling the parcel. I then emailed AnPost which said that they haven’t got the parcel yet. They recently increased prices, but am I the only one thinking the service getting down the hill? I don't mean the local postman/postwoman delivering stuff, they're grand. It seems like their sorting center is taking it slow. A package arrived to Ireland on Friday night, isn't out for delivery by Monday. A parcel I sent to mainland EU on Thursday (which is expensive as ****) still didn't left Ireland. Are they under stress under parcel and mail sorting or what?

Hello! I recently purchased stuff off of ebay to the wrong address, I scheduled a pickup with royal mail and had it sent over here, I just got a email this morning from An Post saying a 13.50€ Import charge and 88€ VAT charge are payable. I'm really confused here as I originally purchased them for £66, I was told by the royal mail phoneline to put the retail price of the items and not what I purchased them for so I presume this is the reason for this? Is that what should have been done? Is there anything I can do to not pay €100 for it? Thanks!
