Picked up one of their prepaid postage boxes just outside of Cavan on Tuesday morning. Filled it with gifts for a friend over in Italy, then sent it off a the post office in Cavan town on Tuesday at 5pm. Cost €18 all in including the box. Arrived at her house in Italy around midday Irish time today, so about 42 hours or so since drop off. I’m not sure if the prices have gone up in recent years but the service seems impeccable.

Just wanted to share the official response I got from CS regarding the upcoming €3,- EU customs duty. Since the delays pushed the shipment from April into July, it triggers these new rules. As you can see, TBB has confirmed they will not be reimbursing or offsetting these fees for EU customers, stating it is 'beyond their control'. Last week I sent a friend a birthday card through An Post to Guernsey. I included a disassembled Lego character in the envelope with the card, Because this was my first time sending a letter abroad and I didn’t know any better, I assumed the gift inside was light enough not to make any difference and just handed it in as a normal letter to the post office. I am an Post Primary teacher of almost 20 years and i hold an AP2 position. I am relocating and applying for jobs. Is it the norm for schools to ask for 2 written references to send with application? and do many schools facilitate online interviews? Thanks in advance

Now, I am considering joining baby IIMs, so I would like to know out of IIM BG, IIM jammu, IIM Sirmaur & IIM Sambalpur which is best? In Jammu i am in advanced waitlist, so it should convert soon; in Sambalpur my waitlist is in 20s so it's convertible as aswell. Je suis au chômage et depuis plusieurs semaines je remarque qu’il n’y a quasiment plus que des offres pour les alternants. Je sais que c’est la période de recrutement des alternants mais je me demande si les entreprises recrutent encore autre chose que des alternants ? Pourtant je cherche à un niveau d’expérience de 3 à 5 ans post diplôme, et même comme ça je ne trouve que des postes d’alternance. Pour preuve le mail que j’ai reçu ce soir, vis à vis des nouvelles offres d’emploi d’une grosse entreprise.

How in God’s name has Evri courier not been shut down? I ordered something from the UK and had the misfortune to get the email to say it’s with Evri for delivery. Tracking has it in Basildon, UK for the past 6 days without moving. “Parcel consolidated in the group at LHR” Their customer support is a chatbot and automated phone line that works in a loop hellscape where it will never pass you on to a human. To make matters worse they had also originally emailed to say duties and tax were due (normally pay that to An Post no?) so I paid it. So now I have no update on my parcel, down over 100quid on duties and can’t contact the company. Seller is also livid. Says he can send agai...
