An Post is the state-owned provider of postal services in the Republic of Ireland. An Post provides a "universal postal service" to all parts of the country as a member of the Universal Postal Union. Services provided include letter post, parcel service, deposit accounts, Express Post (an all-Ireland next-day delivery service), and EMS (international express-mail service). An Post, the Irish postal administration, came into being in 1984 when, under the terms of the Postal & Telecommunications Services Act of 1983, the Post Office services of the Department of Posts and Telegraphs (P&T) were divided between An Post and Telecom Éireann, the telecommunications operator now called Eir. At its inception, during the early years of the Irish Free State, the Department of Posts and Telegraphs was the country's largest department of state, and its employees (most of them postmen) constituted the largest sector of the civil service.

Die Sendung ist heute angekommen, Code aber nicht (Post-app, email). Thalia sagt ich soll mich an die Post wenden. Das kanns doch nicht sein, dass ich selbst bei der Post anrufen und die 22-stellige Sendungsnummer durchgeben muss, damit ich zu meinem Abholcode komme. Ich hatte das Problem schon letztes Jahr, da dachte ich noch an einen Einzelfall, aber anscheinend ist das der Normalzustand. Wie sind eure Erfahrungen damit? First time Irish passport dispatched16h agoFirst time passport processed quicker than the expected date, did call the office and tell them I'm flying on the 16th of June and they might have expedited it delighted anyways was abit worried with all the posts on here people having to cancel trips and the fact that there's delays on first time passports and I was expecting my trip to not go ahead for anyone seeing all the posts about delays etc just apply with all the documents properly and fingers crossed you won't miss your trip and it'll be as smooth of a process as mine. I submitted a FBR application in February 2026, which Royal Mail and An Post tracking confirmed was received by the FBR. I have however never received any email from the FBR confirming that they received it. Is this normal/a sign of an issue? I have seen numerous references on Reddit and elsewhere to people receiving emails from FBR or documents being "accepted", which has made me worry something is amiss... Because it appears here on many tier lists.2d agoI am new to this genre in audio books and normal books, only consumed it under another genre in light novel, manga and anime formats. So my question. Litrpg means it has to have systems and other stuff like any rpg. But the only thing that resembles it is his ability to create a save point. No levels, no classes, no quests or NPCs. So imo is the perfect run more of an post apocalyptic science fiction genre novel that a litrpg. Am i the only one with this opinion? Edit: i realised that if the MC would not call his ability as a save point maker and running errands as doing side quests Then the title would lose any connection to a video game. CA Job Question3d agoIm an post grad Canadian IMG who didnt match this year (first attempt), I am currently working as a clinical assisstant in ON but i saw in Manitoba theres actually a restricted license to practice as a Clinical Assisstant. I have applied to jobs but didnt hear anything back yet but im on the fence about moving to Manitoba. On one hand if it makes my chances for residency better, im totally OK with it, but at the same time is there really a big difference because i feel like "Clinical Assisstant" work as an IMG might be intrepeted the same no matter what province you do it in? Granted ON is very competitive i suppose MB would be sensible spot to nest in and make connections. So ...
