I am stuck in a problem with a laptop return to Amazon UK and I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. Back in February I tried to return a laptop I bought in 2025. I originally went to An Post office. They would not take it because of the battery inside. That is okay. I booked DHL instead because they actually take these kinds of things. I dropped it off at the DHL drop off in the Dublin GPO on February 3rd. I thought that was the end of it. The tracking information said it would be delivered by the 6th. I was trying to research but I couldn't find much. If 1 person were to get a car mod engineered, eg put a turbo on a specific car then that modification has been approved. So if that certificate was shared couldn't any one else that wanted to do the same mod be able to do it without paying for it to be engineered. (each car would need an post install check) but apart from that. why wouldn't that work? and if it does why doesn't everyone share the engerneering certs?

I need to return a faulty Android tablet to Amazon. Started the return process, printed my waybill, but An Post won't accept the return because it's a tablet and has a battery in it. Do I need to use a courier like DPD or DHL or the like to do then then?

I've seen a lot of positive reviews about Gomibo here. They're (apparently) a legit Dutch company selling phones, tablets etc. for cheap. People here seem to have received items from them successfully. BUT, here is the caution story: If your item is not delivered, not sent, is lost or whatever, they WILL make it extremely hard for you to recover your money. In my case, I ordered a Galaxy Tab and it was taking ages. The tracking link they sent clearly said "An Post has not recieved your item yet". So when I called their number, explained, they said I need to 'declare' I havent received the item. A bit odd, because they know that from An Post already, but ok...

just wondering which courier company is taking over from Fastway..... I used Fastway for a seasonal business, lowish volume about 20 boxes of 15kg each per week. Fastway were grand, usually 2 day delivery but they never lost the boxes. looking around I only see DPD ( my volume is too low) GLS ( won't answer the phone) and the big European or US (DHL FedEx etc) who are not collecting from Co Cavan Question is..... who is taking over the Fastway business collections? Hi not sure if this is the best place to ask but I've been battling gomo's webchat customer support - the situation is I ordered a gomo SIM on Monday before the €12.99 offer ended, and expected it to be delivered before the end of the week. The SIM still hasn't arrived so won't arrive until Monday now at the earliest. I had booked in for my number to be ported over tomorrow, I know I can change that time but my problem is my existing plan with Three runs out on Sunday so I either will be out of service until the SIM does arrive, or have to pay for another month with Three. I sent a parcel to Germany on Tuesday the 24th through the local post office. I paid for insurance and was given a tracking number on the receipt. When I check the tracking number online, nothing shows up at all, not even that it was accepted or scanned at the post office. It’s like the number doesn’t exist. Shouldn’t there at least be a scan showing it was received at the post office? Or is it normal for tracking not to update straight away? Just trying to figure out if this is standard?
