So I have a USA based iPhone 12 (A2271), that has the 5G MMWave glass cutout. I am moving abroad in April for better transportation and to be closer to family. As well as to avoid the current goings-on stateside. The phone is unlocked. I know it will work with Irish carriers (Vodafone, Three, Eir) and their MVNO’s (48, Tesco Mobile IE, GoMo, Sky Mobile, Virgin Mobile). I want to know if I can expect MMWave speeds. Things I know: \-Ireland does NOT offer MMWave iPhones. The property was abandoned last year after a fire. The owner was renting it out to some college kids (not confirmed) when the fire broke out in one of the buildings. So wife's role was made redundant earlier this and she didn't get any severance as she was just 1.5 years with the company. She applied for Jobseeker's Pay Related benefit and got approved while she's applying for jobs alongside but the job market is tight as we all know. Nevertheless, she keeps applying daily. We had plans to visit her parents even before she got the news about redundancy and had made bookings and all that stuff. My question is if she's away for two weeks and cannot collect her payment and inform the DSP as well before leaving, would she get those two weeks paid when she's back? hi all, bought some items from the UK used addresspal and it seemed great for only a tenner, I was under the weight limits etc. However the company split my order into four, which means I've had to pay €40 to receive these items, customs was also €40. I am not saying it's addresspals or an posts fault but be wary of your order being split and getting charged a lot more than expected.

So, I know An Post have been going mad adding fees to AddressPal recently, but I want to buy something US only and now I'm not sure if I want to chance it. UK is one thing (Border Parcel Motel seem to be a popular option for that), but US is another, not to mention customs etc. Honestly I may skip it entirely, but wanted to see what other people's experience was before I did.

I ordered a walking pad off of amazon and I got an email from them saying it was sent today by DHL but i didn't receive it. Was it a mistake and amazon meant it was delivered to Ireland by DHL to then be given to An Post or did DHL deliver it to the wrong place. The parcel was sent from Istanbul, Turkey to Ireland

Been waiting over a week for a package to arrive (currently in my local An Post depot Glenegeary) that I was informed a week ago would be delivered the next working day. The current tracking status is it is “being sorted for delivery.” I urgently need this before Friday. Has anybody had any recent experience with a delay such as this and how long did it take?

On December 23rd, 2025 I sent important notarized documents to the Federal Office of Justice in Germany for a police certificate, but never heard back. Checking the tracking on the An Post website today, it ends on December 30th and says "Your item is being sorted by the receiving post". Does this mean the package got lost in Germany and never made it to the final delivery address or does it mean that An Post usually stops tracking once the item left Ireland? Is this normal for An Post tracking and just means tracking stops once it arrived in the delivery country itself or whether it means it never arrived at the final address?
