I honestly thought it was an isolated incident but after seeing some posts on social media it seems im not the only one. Im still waiting on stuff pre Christmas and some stuff that was ordered and confirmed OFD on the 9th of December didn't arrive until after Christmas day. I've seen other people say they're still waiting on delivery's of parcels and letters pre Christmas cut off. Anyone else experiencing this? An Post usually are great around the holiday but this year seem to have dropped the ball

Can anyone advise of good and ideally free banking options for children? An post charge minimum €2/month; AIB seem to be 7+ only. Looking for somewhere where we can save their own money. This is separate from a facility for us saving for their future. Just somewhere they can put pocket money, gifts from Grandparents etc. Thanks.

Have asked this in r/RoyalMail as well, but just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same experience and that my application isn't actually lost. Application sent by internation tracked and signed 17th December, last update 18th December that letter was leaving country at Langley HWDC. No update since then. I live in in the US and would like to get something shipped from Ireland. It is a small business that uses A Post to ship their items (wedding gowns). I understand I am going to have to pay extra due to tariffs. However, how successful have people actually been at receiving their items? I am fine waiting for the items, I just want to ensure I get them especially with the extra cost. If AnPost and USPS has been a disaster to deal with, has anyone had any luck using FedEx internationally? And do you think that would be a safer option than using AnPost?

I posted a package on Dec 10th, going from Dublin to within the EU. Paid for express post. It’s still sitting in Dublin because AnPost didn’t ship it. I opened an investigation case a week later which AnPost never investigated and the web chat employees end the chat immediately when I ask about it.

So I order some things from Aliexpress on the 2nd of Dec and still waiting. Then ordered another set of stuff on the 11th for a crochet commission I need to do. Usually my Aliexpress orderes take less than two weeks to arrive when I lived in Limerick. Then I moved to a small town in Cork two months ago so I’m not sure does that differ from my previous home address which is in the city, plus I know it’s the holiday month So anyone still waiting for any packages?

Merry Christmas. I think I know the answer to this one but I'm nervous due to the contents of my letter being important. I sent my Irish citizenship application forms by tracked and signed internation royal mail post on December 17th. Last notification I received was this was leaving the UK at Langley HWDC 18th December. Since then I've received no update from royal mail or An post. Should I be concerned or is this typical for the time of year. It's been 11 days but I guess only 7 business days. I was told it should take 4-5 business days to arrive. Any words of relief?
