Watching my Amazon tracker yesterday, driver's van stuck at the entrance to one of those proper narrow, cobbled streets like in York or some old town bit, probably thinking "how the **** do I get a parcel down here without taking out a 14th-century wall?" It's so British... Amazon delivery has been utter ****. 2nd time in 2 months, these people have delayed the order delivery. Let me explain. I place 2 separate orders, Product A and Product B to the same pincode. Let's assume Product A arrives on 10th and B on 12th. Then it's a guarantee, no matter how long you have been paying for Prime, you will receive both products on the 12th or even on a later date but not on the 10th. I have faced this twice in 2 months. I know about AusPost Parcel Collect and Amazon lockers, but from what I understand they are exclusive to AusPost and Amazon only, respectively, and will not take packages from couriers like iMile. I've also had some orders that Amazon couldn't forward to the lockers for some reason. I can't keep on not being able to leave the house just to wait for packages. Is there a service in Adelaide where that's all they do, basically like a P.O. Box but for packages from all couriers? I found Bounce on LockerMap but it seems they've stopped service this month.

Have Amazon recently changed the interface in their delivery app so it's easier to just select handed to resident for everything? Half of my parcels say that now when they are left outside or even put in the letterbox, why not just select put in letterbox for that? It doesn't matter much if I get the parcel but in the last 2 months I have had one delivered to the wrong address and no idea where the other one went so had to refund it. Hi, I purchased some pet medication recently and had it delivered to an Amazon Locker. Sometimes pet companies will send a small free gift with higher-value items (maybe some pet treats) so I wasn't surprised when there was a second parcel in the locker, and when I opened it, it was pet cleaning wipes, so I wasn't worried at all. Trouble is, the packaging has someone else's name on it (of course I would notice this after I open it). Amazon's online chatbot is useless here, it confirms and re-confirms I received the item and want to return it, or tries to make it look like I'm claiming non-receipt of my actual item. The past few years I have had an increasing problem with delivery drivers (mostly Evri and Amazon) just leaving parcels on the doorstep and not ringing the doorbell or knocking the door. I live in a terrace house so the door is next to the pavement so its easy for anyone passing to take a package if left there. I was wondering if people with a visible doorbell camera also have this issue or if they see they are being recorded and will ring the bell or knock the door to tell you the parcel is there?
