So I imagine there are a lot of people like me who are in the UK and really want the Criterion Wes Anderson collection. Some websites do ship it to the UK but I've not seen it for less than around £325, which is a fairly hefty price of over £30 per film. I decided to try and get hold of it directly from Criterion and thought I'd share the experience for those who may wish to do something similar. There are a few services that offer mail forwarding from the continental US to overseas and I used one of these - I don't know if I can say the name of the company or not, but it begins with 'S'. Apologies if this isn't the right subreddit for this question, but I'm hoping posties might know what's going on! I live in the UK and my wife lives in the US. We usually send each other large Christmas parcels with several items wrapped up - around £100. We've heard a lot about countries suspending parcels going to the US due to the tarrifs. Does this include individuals sending packages to each other, or is it more of a business thing? And if so, is it for any parcel at all, or is there a weight/price limit that can fly under the radar? Literally. The perk of Amazon over other carriers is the Drivers Aid numbers, so easy to scan and pack your route and super simple to find the next parcel etc. when delivering. Today my route was all over the place! I did not have time to put seats down etc like I normally do so car was packed carefully and then got to first delivery with number 1 in my hand only to find route started on 23 and then jumped about through a few consecutive numbers all over the place for the whole route. Slowed me down so much that one in the middle was late and I will get a ding. Such a pain in the arse.

This is the most unimportant problem ever but it is really pissing me off today. I buy stuff online sometimes, as most people do, and the delivery services have started pissing me off more and more. I got in to tiny whoops around covid time and I'd bought a few things from unmanned tech over the years with no issues, good prices and quick delivery. I'm a new business owner in Canada and looking to ship within Canada and to USA for a box that is roughly 50 × 45 × 45 cm and weighs 8 kgs and even with corporate rates of most shipping companies costs $100 within Canada and $200 to USA. The product itself costs me only $80 to make so these prices are ridiculous and not sustainable. How do other companies get their products to be offered for such low prices. I've recently applied for UC as someone who is currently self-employed. After my initial Jobcentre appointment today, I've made an appointment with my GP in roughly a month's time to get a fit note for reduced hours and to trigger the LCW/LCWRA process. Once in a while I get packages that are out for delivery but the regular mail person don’t have that package. And usually they’re shown to be delivered by 9 PM instead of 5PM which is when my regular mail person delivers. And most of the time the 9PM out for delivery never delivers. Always has lame no access to business exception and following day the regular mail person delivers. Yesterday I had another package to be delivered by 9 PM only to show at 7PM as delivered 50 pound large item into parcel locker which can barely hold medium size Amazon package box.
