Feels like every few months there’s some new customs/VAT/import fee discussion happening, especially in the EU lately. Between VAT being added upfront, possible new small parcel fees, stricter customs checks etc, cross-border shopping definitely doesn’t feel as “dirt cheap and effortless” as it used to. But honestly… I don’t think it’s completely killing AliExpress the way people keep saying. Since I had a customer get angry with me let me say this.. We do not have to deliver your packages or mail to your back yard. Our line of travel is to your mailbox and front porch. It does not matter if you buy signs off of amazon saying you want them at the back porch, our safety is more important than your mail and parcels. We don’t know who or what is back there and even if we could see the yard clearly, WE HAVE ZERO OBLIGATIONS to deliver to your back door. And you cannot move your mailbox without postmaster permission because that changes our line of travel.

I'm sure I'm not alone in being constantly dinged for these random "late deliveries" when ALL parcels have been delivered well within the block time and within each parcel's scheduled delivery time. The only thing that lately keeps happening is the "pick up time", which, mid-end of the block, starts showing as "late" (see pictures). I have always looked at other similar posts and said "never happened to me" and continued shopping on Flipkart. Well it finally happened to me. 1. Open-box-verification parcel arrived, but open box verification was never done by eKart. 2. Product quality is not good, brand name not visible on product and color also different from what was shown. 3. Filed return request next day, eKart delivery boy rejected pickup because "brand name not visible on product". Duh. 4. No way to contact Flipkart about this disappointment, in help and support there is no contact number or email, only a useless chat option with 3 pre-determined responses. Several years ago I had a sequence of bad experiences with Intelcom that caused me to request that my Amazon Canada parcels not be delivered by that company. Amazon graciously complied. Over the last several months the deliveries resumed by this company under the DragonFly name. I've asked Customer Service that DragonFly not be used for my deliveries but although Customer Service has been agreeable, the DragonFly deliveries keep resuming. I have started refusing delivery from Dragonfly in the hope that this will cause the request that DragonFly not handle my purchases to be taken seriously. so i sold an orange juicer on vinted bcs im moving out. i never used it it was brand new from amazon but one of my roommates must have used it before sending. she washed the inside but not the stand thing. its still in workable condition. buyer received the parcel and requested a refund which is fair i get that. so i requested a return so i can wash it and sell it again -- but the buyer is tweaking and shes like oh im on crutches i cant return im gonna take it up with vinted. im a college student so i cant js refund her the money and let her keep an 18 quid juicer for free WHAT DO I DO??!!!
