Hello all, today I arrived home to find three mysterious Amazon packages sitting on my doorstep. They are addressed to one Maureen Wilson (not her real name ofc). I'm not 100% certain but I believe Maureen to be one of the previous owners of our house, whom has not lived here - or anywhere for that matter, she was deceased before we purchased it - for about three years. She was survived by her husband, who was the person who sold us the house and then moved to an expat commune in the middle eastern region. So this afternoon pretty much my whole village (me included) have all been sent fake delivery notices with our parcels on a variety of wrong doorsteps and no actual parcels for any of us 😩 He made sure he delivered all his Amazon ones though 😏

Hi, Whenever I am expecting parcels delivered from Royal Mail, even if I pay for Tracking 24, or a through Amazon Prime (sometimes they use Royal Mail unfortunately), I regularly have my postman pretend to attempt to post the item (does not leave a red slip: I am sitting in waiting and no one came; returns a few days later and puts a red slip through the door with the date of the original fake attempt etc. etc.). I am temporarily staying in a furnished condo near the hospital where my husband is a patient. Think Airbnb although it isn’t through them. Long story short, a delhivery person came up to our home at 5:00 today with a package meant for my mom. My mom was asleep at the time, and I was aware that she had ordered some stuff from Amazon, so I didn't think much and paid rs 699 for what I thought to be my mom's order. So I was a carrier for years, walking all day in rain, snow, at night etc. is this gig essentially the same minus the mail? How are the scanners? One thing I liked about USPS is we don’t take pictures of packages. Just scan and drop it. Also apartments have parcel rooms and lockers. Going door to door for every package would have been impossible to get done in time. How do you guys deal with apartments? If you’re lucky you get those new digital amazon lockers right?

As he is very smart he ballsed up the delivery address, putting my house number and street, but mistakenly using _his_ postcode. We live in the same part of London. Amazon can F#*& OFF. Anyone else getting oversize amazon parcles with 20 things in it. Not only are they heavy as Sh!t the packaging is as strong as toilet paper. I picked one out of my van today and had the box Implode on me tins of irn bru and dog food go flying and start rolling off like its the great escape. Knock on the customers door for the customer to see me holding a flap of cardboard with the customers exposed goods and a painted on smile on my face. Hi I wanted to buy a 55" TV from Amazon UK, this particular model is not available if my shipping address is Dublin but is available when I put a NI address. Parcel depots in NI will take it but wants me to book a courier myself to bring it to Dublin. I tried Dpd, anpost adresspal and evri but seems like they won't take TV's for some reason. Anyone knows of any courier or parcel depots that will do this? Thanks 😊
