My Amazon Flex account has been terminated, and I genuinely believe it’s been done unfairly despite me following all procedures and having proof. Here’s what happened: 1. More than one coworker at the USPS thinks the new contract with Amazon reads that we will get back 80% of the already lost volume from years past when we were all overburdened. No, it means we are losing 20% of the already low “adjusted” volume we have with Amazon. We are KEEPING 80% of the current volume. Or again losing 20% more. I ordered a package from Amazon a few days ago, tracked. 3rd party seller, and I didn't realise at the time, but delivered by Royal Mail. Today I went onto the order to see if it had been delivered as I hadn't heard anything and to my surprise it said it had been. Whilst I understand that the purpose of working a job is so you can be blamed for things outside of your control, I have never seen such an egregious example of this as I have with Amazon flex and their dashboard system. I started around this time last year and since then have received numerous late delivery hits. In the last few months I still receive these even when I deliver everything before the parcel deadline (normally 2200 for evening blocks). I have a friend who works at the flex pickup warehouse. He tells me that the number of parcels/drops has been increasing, and will continue to, as flex drivers are demonstrating that they can complete blocks well within the block allocation time. As long as this continues, expect parcels/drops to continue climbing into the 50's and 60's for 4 hour blocks, for example. it does not pay to complete your block at lightning speed , stop doing this ! I see a lot of posts on here about the horrors of Vinted, be it difficult buyers, potential scams or damaged items. I sell a lot of clothes on Vinted (personal ****) but also sell professionally on eBay (a whole variety of ****) and have 100% positive feedback on both platforms across thousands of sales. I’m really frustrated and need advice on what to do next. For the past several months, the Amazon delivery partner in my area has repeatedly refused to deliver parcels to my doorstep. Instead, they call me and ask me to come and pick up the package from another location about 1.5 km away from my address. This has not happened once or twice — it has happened more than 20 times. I just can’t get my head around what Amazon expect you to do in certain situations. If you ring the customer 3 times no answer, can’t get in the main door of the flats. When I do choose another safe location I always make sure it’s hidden so there is no chance it gets robbed. Have any of you guys got any tips on how to stop standards dropping, or is it just luck that you don’t get a weird customer who will just moan about the location of the parcel for the sake of it?
