E-commerce with Fulfilment center

I have been thinking about the idea of mimicking the Amazon same day delivery. The reason it is possible is because of the idea of having the items closer and readily available to be sent out for delivery to the customer. As a vendor in Ghana will you be cool with having your items with the company at their warehouse to help improve the speed of delivery? You will have a dashboard to see all the stages and movement of your parcels/items.

Are the routes getting worse????

Today I had 4 postcodes, 37 parcels. 20 of them were restaurants and coffee houses in central Edinburgh. 1 was addressed, the hut coffee meadows!!!! Gee that’s like saying coffee hut Central Park NYC!!!! Also how the **** does Amazon expect people to deliver to alot of businesses at 8am when alot of them don’t open till 11am +. Utter Rubbish!!!

Amazon warehouse

10h ago

Damaged parcel leaking everywhere, warehouse staff took it from me and said they would remove it from my route. They didn’t. Phoned support, they put it as missing even though I told them the whole story. Few days later….. ding ding ding !!! Email regarding missing parcel. Finally spoke to a manager at the warehouse, basically my fault I should have made sure the staff had removed it before I left. Err manager you forgot 1 thing you were harassing me too hurry up as cars needed out and cars needed in……. Ding Dong Amazon !!!!!

2 orders placed.. 2 orders not received

12h ago

What is happening with Amazon lately? Last week I placed an order to a collection box, receive the email/notification to say it’s ready for collection… however, the barcode or 6 digit does not work and says invalid. I contact customer services and they say it was damaged in transit. So now I wait 5-7 business days for a refund. I place another order at the start of this week, same collection point I always use… receive the email and code etc… invalid again.. Customer services apologise, I request refund and cancel another order due to arrive that day… Has anyone else experienced this lately? I use the same collection point.. the shop owner says Amazon have been putting parcels...

Parcel Tracker and Amazon Key Partnership: Reshaping Mailroom Logistics

13h ago

Parcel Tracker partners with Amazon Key. It is a collaboration that provides free building-access hardware to simplify courier entry for UK property managers. [Parcel Tracker partners with Amazon Key](https://preview.redd.it/etl5jssbyo3h1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=9ee219286de0f769051b78c24a8232a1412dd89b) One of the biggest hidden bottlenecks in residential and multifamily delivery operations isn’t just parcel logging. It's also the reception staff constantly stopping what they’re doing to let couriers into the building. That operational friction adds up *fast*. Which is why the Parcel Tracker + Amazon Key partnership is genuinely interesting f...

Refund not being initiated

17h ago

So yeah I had ordered a gesto RGB led strip from Amazon on the 12th of April and got the delivery on the 14th of April where I received only the adapter for which I had to request a replacement but they actually cancelled the replacement by themselves and then I had to call the customer care to ask for the refund as it was getting too much then after calling the customer care they said that I would have to ship the parcel through a nearby postal service for which I had to pay around 110 rupees and the parcel was sent to the Amazon refund office by 25th April exactly as the date they told me to send the parcel back...it did reach there and then after waiting for a week or more i didn't g...

No contact from insurer for nearly 2 months after claim

1d ago

Just looking for a bit of advice because this is my first ever insurance claim and it’s been stressing me out. Back on 26 March, another Amazon Flex driver claimed I scratched their car with my door while loading parcels at the depot. I reported it to my hire & reward insurer (INSHUR) and they asked for my block data, photos of my car and my insurance certificate, which I sent over. The last email I got from them was on 1 April and I’ve heard absolutely nothing since. It’s now 27 May. No updates, no mention of CCTV, no liability decision, nothing at all. My own car doesn’t really have any damage and I’m not claiming for anything myself, so I’m not too bothered from tha...

Amazon Logistics Peak Clownery

Ordered an item for delivery from Manipur. The seller is based in West Bengal — literally nearby. But instead of coming to the Northeast, the parcel went all the way to Gujarat on the opposite side of India. What kind of logistics nonsense is this, Amazon?

3h Block From ****

1d ago

First things first I’m not one to complain about flex work as it’s pretty straight forward and easy but today was a different sort of shift. 17:45 I check the app and see a 18:15 shift for £75, I thought to myself why not, only contrasting factor was the heat I would be driving in the whole time but I could definitely deal with it (what I thought) Usual 3h blocks at my depo (DIG1) average around 30 ish parcels, to my surprise I scan the route and it’s 42 parcels (I usually get this on 3.5-4h blocks) Just bare in mind they made us wait until 18:25 to start grabbing our parcels as they were on a go slow today and I was second to grab my parcels. I didn’t end up leaving the depo unti...

Do I have any chance of moving up with this resume?

It's still going to be a few months, but I'd like to go for PA eventually. I think it's decent compared to some others I've seen, but I also know there's way better out there. I just wanna know if you guys think I'd even have a chance at an interview with this. I'd really appreciate any input!

Catch up on what happened this week in Logistics: May 19-25

Hey everyone, If it's your first time reading one of my posts, I break down the top logistics news from the past week, so you're always up to date. Let's jump into it, # Last week's Supreme Court ruling just hit brokers in the wallet. Hard. Last week in Edition 46, we covered Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II — the case where the Supreme Court unanimously stripped freight brokers of the federal liability shield they'd been leaning on for years. If you missed it: brokers can now be sued in any state if they booked a carrier with obvious safety red flags and something went wrong. This week, the industry found out what that actually costs. Right now, for every d...

What is an AWB Number? Everything Indian eCommerce Sellers Need to Know (2026)

1d ago

If you're new to eCommerce or just confused about that random number on your shipping label — this post is for you. **So what exactly is an AWB number?** AWB stands for Air Waybill. It's basically a unique tracking ID assigned to every shipment the moment it's booked. Think of it as your parcel's Aadhar card — every scan, movement, and delivery update is recorded against this number. Without it, no one can locate your parcel in the system. **Where do you find it?** * In your shipping confirmation SMS or email * On the printed label pasted on your package * In your shipping dashboard (Shipmozo , Shiprocket, Pickrr, etc.) * In your Amazon or Flipkart order details p...

2d ago

📢Update - 27 May 2026 ——————————————- Amazon Executive Relations Team reached out to me I’m honestly not sure if this was because of my contact via LinkedIn to their leadership, queries from media outlets or due to my posts. They have committed to investigate the driver and refund my order. For those still trying to equate this to a regular scam, please know that it is not. Many people don’t even realise that Amazon has an official OTP verification for high value orders, let alone know that the driver shouldn’t be asking for the OTP for his or her own convenience. Sharing this helps with awareness and of course, getting the help I needed for my ...
