Online Amazon Tracking

I’ve been thinking about this lately and wanted to hear how others handle it. Most of the products we order from sites like Amazon or Flipkart have an MRP of ₹2000, but they’re sold online at ₹500 after discounts. Local shops usually sell them at MRP, so online shopping makes way more sense financially. But the real challenge is deliveries. If you’re single and living alone, how do you manage parcels? What if you have aged parents at home and feel its risk for them to deal with delivery guys and otp and also they cant rest during the day. Yeah, I know—if I had the choice again I would have kept it or sold it second-hand. I took out the extra insurance just in case anything went wrong, and it has. Now I’m wondering if I’ll get any compensation or just reasons not to pay. I returned an item to Amazon using DPD and paid extra for their insurance because the item is worth over €400, mainly to cover any damage during transit. Tracking shows the parcel was delivered to the Amazon returns address. However, Amazon says the parcel arrived with the item missing and they won’t issue a refund without it. So it was either lost or, more likely, stolen somewhere between the DPD drop-off point and the Amazon returns centre. lots...

Amazon drivers aren't delivering packages to my front door instead leave them with parcel pending and sometimes just on the ground in an unsecured location. I've spoke to my apartment complex, I've spoke with amazon... Like what's the best way to solve this because at this point I feel I need to track my next package and then follow the driver to the dispatch center to speak to a supervisor or something else.... Because I'm at my wits end. The instructions are clear to deliver to the front door. Previously I wanted the lockers to work. Now I just want my packages.

I had a delivery which required age verification. I showed my driving licence to the driver and he seemed to be checking off my details against his device but then he suddenly snapped a picture of it. It really caught me off guard. When I checked the Amazon policy on age verification it said the driver is not supposed to take a photo of the ID.  What is your experience with parcels that need age verification, either as a customer or a driver? Has the year of birth just been checked and the parcel handed over, or has it been required that a picture is taken of the ID? Thanks.

A bit if a rant but anyone else fed up of delivery drivers who just leave your parcel anywhere and dont give a ****. I know its amazons fault as they incentivise on amount of parcels delivered but can we all rally together and bring back the simple "I left it with a neighbour" or "it's in the porch" instead of just launching it into your blusher leaving it to be robbed on your doorstep Sorry rant over 😂😂
