Done 4 flex shifts and on Saturday just after it I got locked out. I had a feeling someone was going to complain as the weather was awful due to the storm. just rang Amazon and they confirmed it was due to a complaint I have received. Is it just my impression or are workers in Australia completely demotivated and not caring about quality of service they deliver? I notice that in retail, food/parcel delivery services, customer service, reception desks and in general everywhere. Examples would be Woolworths deliveries always got something wrong/missing/broken. Amazon deliveries every now and then get dropped off to wrong address. Food orders got missing items or arrived damaged. I assume that low wages and awareness that it’s very unlikely to get anywhere in this economy by doing simple jobs sadly killed any work ethics.

Hello Flex community. I am lately having trouble as our depot has changed shift times and this has resulted in my being out later than normal delivering. This has caused a few incidents with customers appearing confused, irritated, or hostile when finding me at their door. The older generation (boomers) seem to believe that deliveries don’t come later than dinner time. This is so absurd as to be laughable. But the confusion and irritation of these customers again and again grates away at me. Was thinking about getting the steam deck, or even the new steam machine when it comes out. But O don't think they sell them at a physical location like a box store, so the package could easily get stolen if I'm away from my house when its delivered. Do they deliver to post office parcel lockers? Or maybe for example theres a cvs near me that holds amazon/UPS packages I can put for the address?

So a comment by u/J1772x2 made me realize that [I should do something about my parcel shelf,](https://www.reddit.com/r/leaf/comments/1otzjk7/comment/noq82hi/) because I've painfully bumped my head into its rough and sharp edge a bunch of times. I bought [this blue door edge trim](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBVS8CXQ) from Amazon and it turns out to be a good fit. The contrasting color makes it more noticeable, and the rounded rubber means that if I still run into the shelf, it will be less painful.

My post office is not accepting parcels bound for the US, where my sister currently lives with her husband and two kiddos - a 5 y/o girl and 2 y/o boy. Tonight I had a route and before I left the depot I noticed there was a broken parcel box and it was also leaking from what it was inside. The staff at amazon took it from me and when I was around the delivery area for that parcel I announced on the app that I was unable to deliver it due to broken package. When I finished my shift the app told me to deliver it back to depot but I cant since I don't have the parcel.
