Online Amazon Tracking

Ordered a nice fancy present for my fiancée, won’t say what it is as he is on this sub as well. Ordered via Amazon, didn’t realise it would be delivered by Evri, soon as I realised it will be delivered by Evri I knew I wasn’t getting my parcel. Driver couldn’t be bothered to even use the buzzer system on my block of flats which was 2 steps to the left of the parcel and left the parcel by the main entrance blocking the automatic door. Checked the app to see it’s delivered, went down to find it and guess what, the parcel is gone. Not even 10 min. First of all, I'm a carrier for USPS and have the utmost respect for Amazon DSP drivers! The work you do, in the vehicles they provide, they way you're treated for the dismal pay and yet, you keep going! During peak I have instructions to have all pacels placed in my project car. It's a car from the 1980s that is out of commission until I get the parts and time to repair it. I wrote in the instructions to place the parcels in the car, the doors are unlocked and the car is out of commission. Only one Amazon carrier has followed the instruction. So I'd been waiting all day for an amazon parcel which was being delivered by royal mail. As the day went on the tracking was getting later.. Up until 9:13 I got a delivery attempted notification, which was odd as we were sat watching TV. I loaded up the eufy doorbell camera and I've got the postie getting out his van to then stand with the parcel at arm length and then scan and get back in his van... I mean what's the point? People need to start aiming their anger at the actual source of these problems: the delivery companies themselves. These companies do the bare minimum for their workers. They pay barely above minimum wage while piling on completely unrealistic workloads. Routes are designed to squeeze every last drop out of people, and they only hire the absolute minimum number of drivers needed to push through an insane volume of parcels — all to save money. I bought a Christmas present on Amazon only to find out that the recipient had already bought the same item for themselves. No problem, I’ll just return it, right? Except that the seller sent an Evri return label. The parcel is too large and heavy for me to take it to a drop-off point, and they wouldn’t take it from there if I did because their weight limit is 15kg and the parcel weighs 19kg. Amazingly, I was supposed to receive my parcel from Evri on the 1st of December !! It’s now the 13th. Apparently couldn’t deliver and would deliver next working. Day. (Didn’t happen) No human or any way to contact a human at the support centre. idk who else finds this ridiculous but I've had two customers complaining like "thanks for delivering this late" like am I supposed to apologise or what? Sometimes when doing Amazon Flex you can have a whole bunch of parcels for flats or just multple drops in one area and carrying the parcles by hand is not doable, so you might have to come back to your car multiple times to grab more.
